NATURE OF CONTRACT. Execution of this Contract by the Student does not guarantee University Housing. Housing assignments for non-guaranteed students are dependent upon space availability. This Contract shall constitute a license and shall not be deemed to constitute a lease or to create or transfer interest in or lien on real estate. This Contract may not be assigned or transferred.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. This Contract of Carriage applies to and governs Carrier's flights only. No agent, servant or representative of Carrier has authority to change or waive any provision of this Contract of Carriage, unless authorized in writing by a corporate officer of Carrier. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, this Contract constitutes the entire agreement between Carrier and Passenger or the party on behalf of whom this contract was entered.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. Pursuant to this Agreement, the PH-MCO must arrange for the provision of medical and related services to Recipients through qualified Providers in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In administering the HealthChoices Program, the PH-MCO must comply fully with the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, including but not limited to, the operational and financial standards, as well as any functions expressly delegated to the PH-MCO herein. The Secretary for DPW will determine the number of Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) operating in the HealthChoices Program and may contract, during the term of this Agreement, with additional qualified MCOs who meet all established contractual, licensing and readiness review requirements.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. This is a contract of leasing only. Lessee does not, by this lease, acquire any right, title or interest in or to the property described in this leasing agreement.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. This contract establishes an at-will contractual, employer-employee relationship between the University and the Employee. As such, the Employee is neither a Regular Maryland State Nonexempt Employee nor an Exempt State Employee, and does not occupy a Regular State Position. All of the rights and privileges available to the Employee are governed solely by the provisions of this contract.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. 1.1 Contractor shall perform all services as an independent contractor. It is specifically understood that the nature of the services to be rendered under this Agreement are of such a personal nature that University is the sole judge of the adequacy of such services. University reserves the right to cancel this Agreement should University at any time be dissatisfied with Contractor’s performance of its duties under this Agreement.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. This Agreement provides for an additional bonus (the "Special Incentive Bonus") to be paid by MEMC to Employee in consideration for Employee's continuous employment throughout the period of April 1, 1998 through June 30, 1999 (the "Retention Period"). Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to be a contract of employment for any term, nor as conferring upon Employee the right to continue in the employment of MEMC in Employee's present capacity or in any other capacity. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to preclude either party from terminating the employment relationship at any time. It is expressly understood by the parties that this Agreement relates exclusively to additional compensation for Employee's services and is not intended to be the entire employment contract. This Agreement merely supplements Employee's employment contract with MEMC. The Special Incentive Bonus provided by this Agreement is in addition to the cash compensation and other fringe benefits provided to Employee pursuant to any plan or plans maintained by MEMC for its employees generally.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. 1.1 Escrow Agent shall be employed as an independent contractor to fulfill the terms of this Agreement. It is specifically understood that the nature of the services to be rendered under this Agreement are of such a personal nature that the Local Sponsor is the sole judge of the adequacy of such services.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. 2.1 This Contract is a framework contract under which the Company may from time to time procure the provision of the Flexibility Services by the Provider. It is not a guarantee of Utilisation Instructions and does not constitute a contract for the exclusive provision of Flexibility Services. It sets out the terms and conditions which are applicable should the Company procure Flexibility Services from the Provider under this Contract. The Company reserves the right to contract with other providers for the type of work covered by this Contract.
NATURE OF CONTRACT. Host is engaging Xxxxxxx Resources’ services as an independent contractor, and nothing in this Contract shall be construed as an agreement for employment. This Contract is non-exclusive, and Xxxxxxx Resources may enter into contracts with other parties for professional services similar to those set forth in this Contract.
