Meal Allowance - Public Holidays and Sundays. An employee not engaged on continuous shift and required to work on a Public Holiday or Sunday for more than four (4) hours will be paid $15.97 for each meal time occurring during the period of work. This allowance will further increase as set out in Clause 1.2 of Appendix A of this Agreement.

Meal Allowance - Public Holidays and Sundays. An employee who is not a Continuous Shift Worker, required to work on a Sunday or public holiday for more than four hours without being notified on the previous day or earlier of such requirement to work shall either be supplied with a meal by the Company or paid in accordance with the agreed rate identified in Appendix 2 for the meal taken during the first crib break, and during each subsequent crib break. Provided that such payment need not be made to employees living in the locality of the usual place of work who can reasonably return home for meals.

  • Public Holidays 11.1 The following days are public holidays: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and any other gazetted public holidays in the relevant state or territory in which the work is being performed, other than:

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • STATUTORY HOLIDAYS 12.01 The following holidays shall be recognized as legal holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Dominion Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday

  • Overtime Holidays Double time the regular rate for work on the following holiday(s). New Year's Day

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.
