Saturday work definition

Saturday work means for all time of duty on Saturday by shift workers the minimum payment that may be made shall be at the rate of time and a half.
Saturday work means any ordinary hours worked between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday.
Saturday work means all time worked between 7:00 a.m. Saturday and 7:00 a.m. Sunday.

Examples of Saturday work in a sentence

  • Night work is any work between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. No Saturday work will be permitted unless the Contractor gives the Supervising Professional at least 48 hours but not more than 5 days notice of the Contractor's intention to work the upcoming Saturday.

  • Sunday means all the time between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday.

  • Clearance System Business Day means, with respect to the Clearance System, any day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which the Clearance System is open for the acceptance and execution of settlement instructions.

  • General Holiday means every Sunday and any other day which is a

  • Bank Holiday means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which banks in the City of London are not open for business;

  • Grace Period Business Day means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets are generally open to settle payments in the place or places and on the days specified for that purpose in the relevant Obligation and if a place or places are not so specified, in the jurisdiction of the Obligation Currency.

  • TARGET2 Business Day means, a day in which the Trans-European Automated Real-Time Gross Settlement Express Transfer (TARGET2) System or any successor is open.

  • School business day means any calendar day except Saturdays, Sundays, and any federal and school holidays upon which the office of the Superintendent is open to the public for business. A school business day concludes or terminates upon the closure of the Superintendent’s office for the calendar day.

  • PRC Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the PRC are authorized or obligated by law, regulation or executive order to remain closed.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.

  • Day means calendar day.

  • Legal Holiday means a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the City of New York or at a place of payment are authorized by law, regulation or executive order to remain closed. If a payment date is a Legal Holiday at a place of payment, payment may be made at that place on the next succeeding day that is not a Legal Holiday, and no interest shall accrue on such payment for the intervening period.

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am.

  • FX Business Day is any day when (a) Bank’s Foreign Exchange Department is conducting its normal business and (b) the Foreign Currency being purchased or sold by Borrower is available to Bank from the entity from which Bank shall buy or sell such Foreign Currency.
