  • Overtime rates under this clause will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift premiums prescribed in Clause 32 Saturday and Sunday Work and Clause 35 Shiftwork.

  • The shift penalties prescribed in this clause will not apply to shiftwork performed by an employee on Saturday, Sunday or public holiday where the extra payment prescribed by Clause 32 Saturday and Sunday Work and Clause 38 Public Holidays applies.

  • NIPSCO will accept a minimum of two (2) hours of billing for any Contractor employees (General Foremen, Roving Foremen, crew members, etc.) called-out from home to perform Work in an authorized emergency outside of the normal Work day, Monday through Friday, or on a Contractor paid Holiday and for Saturday and Sunday Work in excess of the normal forty (40) hour Work week.

  • Sunday means all the time between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday.

  • Weekday means Monday – Friday.

  • General Business Day means a day on which commercial banks are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits).

  • Legal Holidays has the meaning specified in Section 1.14.

  • Weekend means a Saturday and the following Sunday, assuring a minimum of fifty-six (56) hours off duty;

  • public holiday means any day that is a public holiday in terms of the Public Holiday Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994);

  • Public Holidays means those days declared as public holidays in accordance with the Holidays Act 1983.

  • Bank Holiday means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which banks in the City of London are not open for business;

  • CSD Business Day means a day on which the Book-Entry Securities System is open in accordance with the regulations of the CSD.

  • Legal Holiday means a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the City of New York or at a place of payment are authorized by law, regulation or executive order to remain closed. If a payment date is a Legal Holiday at a place of payment, payment may be made at that place on the next succeeding day that is not a Legal Holiday, and no interest shall accrue on such payment for the intervening period.

  • Local Business Day means, subject to the Schedule, a day on which commercial banks are open for business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) (a) in relation to any obligation under Section 2(a)(i), in the place(s) specified in the relevant Confirmation or, if not so specified, as otherwise agreed by the parties in writing or determined pursuant to provisions contained, or incorporated by reference, in this Agreement, (b) in relation to any other payment, in the place where the relevant account is located and, if different, in the principal financial centre, if any, of the currency of such payment, (c) in relation to any notice or other communication, including notice contemplated under Section 5(a)(i), in the city specified in the address for notice provided by the recipient and, in the case of a notice contemplated by Section 2(b), in the place where the relevant new account is to be located and (d) in relation to Section 5(a)(v)(2), in the relevant locations for performance with respect to such Specified Transaction.

  • Clearance System Business Day means, with respect to the Clearance System, any day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which the Clearance System is open for the acceptance and execution of settlement instructions.

  • Working Day means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales.

  • TARGET2 Business Day means, a day in which the Trans-European Automated Real-Time Gross Settlement Express Transfer (TARGET2) System or any successor is open.

  • PRC Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the PRC are authorized or obligated by law, regulation or executive order to remain closed.

  • NERC Holidays means a holiday as defined by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation or any successor thereto.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.

  • Banking Day means each day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which the Clearing System and the Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross settlement Express Transfer-System (TARGET2) ("TARGET2") are open for business.

  • School business day means any calendar day except Saturdays, Sundays, and any federal and school holidays upon which the office of the Superintendent is open to the public for business. A school business day concludes or terminates upon the closure of the Superintendent’s office for the calendar day.

  • Day means calendar day.

  • Banking Business Day means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday that is not a day on which banking institutions in The City of New York are authorized or required by law, regulation or executive order to close.

  • Euro Business Day means any day on which the Trans-European Automated Real-Time Gross Settlement Express Transfer (TARGET) System, or any successor system, is open for business.

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am.

  • Index Business Day means, in respect of an Index, any day on which the Index Sponsor in respect of such Index is scheduled to publish the level of the Index.
