Long Term Casual Employee a casual employee is a person who is engaged as required on a regular and systematic basis over a period of no less than 12 months.

Long Term Casual Employee. Long- term casual employee shall be defined as an employee who is employed to fill a temporarily existing position. A long- term casual employee shall be employed for a fixed or indefinite period, of three (3) months or more, as a replacement necessitated by illness, injury, leave of absence and, in the case of a fixed period assignment, that period may be extended by mutual written agreement.
