Length of Seniority. For the purposes of clarification, it is agreed by both parties (Federal Hocking School Employees, Local #1292, Ohio Council 8 of AFSCME, AFL-CIO and the Federal Hocking Local Board of Education) that seniority will be computed from the most recent date of hire. This date will be considered the date that the employee was hired by the Board into a bargaining unit position. (Board’s final date of hire) Employees hired after July 1, 2009 shall have their seniority credited as of their first paid work day. When more than one person is hired on the same date, the person with the most seniority will be determined by the highest roll of dice. Once a tie has been broken, the employee’s placement of seniority shall remain. Two types of seniority are established:

Length of Seniority. Seniority (length of service in continuous employment) shall date from the first day an employee reports to work for continuous employment with Wishard Health Services.
Length of Seniority. In determining the length of seniority, a teacher whose employment has been legally terminated by resignation, or termination pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 122A.40, but whose employment was subsequently reinstated, by action of the school district and the teacher, without interruption of regular service, shall retain his/her original seniority date. If there is an interruption of regular service, the seniority date shall be determined as provided in Subdivision 3 of this Section.

  • Length of School Year 4.6.1 Except where reduced by any lawful decision of the employer to close the school to students, the length of the school year for each school shall be determined according to the requirement that schools are required to be open for at least 380 half days in any one calendar year.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.
