Grievant and Representative. An individual teacher, or group of teachers, may present a grievance and may do so through the exclusive representative, and the exclusive representative may thus be given an opportunity to be present at all stages of the grievance machinery. The adjustment of all grievances shall not be inconsistent with the terms of this Contract.

Grievant and Representative. Travel expenses shall be payable to a grievant, complainant or appellant, his/her sole Union representative, and property called witness at a hearing on a grievance, complaint or appeal. The Union will bear the cost of any second employee representative's attendance at an arbitration proceeding. The attendance of a second employee representative as set forth in Section 2.b, (3) above, will not result in any additional cost, travel or per diem expenses to the Employer. No travel and per diem expenses will be paid by the Employer for any Union Officer or representative to assist an Employee with the operation or presentation of a grievance at the local level.

  • Authorised Representatives Each of the Parties shall by notice in writing designate their respective authorised representatives through whom only all communications shall be made. A Party hereto shall be entitled to remove and/or substitute or make fresh appointment of such authorised representative by similar notice.

  • Authorised Representative The Issuer will notify the Dealers immediately in writing if any of the persons named in the list referred to in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of the Initial Documentation List ceases to be authorised to take action on its behalf or if any additional person becomes so authorised together, in the case of an additional authorised person, with evidence satisfactory to the Dealers that such person has been so authorised.

  • Authorized Representatives Each Party shall provide Notice to the other Party of the persons authorized to nominate and/or agree to a schedule or dispatch order for the delivery or acceptance of the Product or make other Notices on behalf of such Party and specify the scope of their individual authority and responsibilities, and may change its designation of such persons from time to time in its sole discretion by providing Notice.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Authorized Representative Sourcewell's Authorized Representative is its Chief Procurement Officer. Supplier’s Authorized Representative is the person named in the Supplier’s Proposal. If Supplier’s Authorized Representative changes at any time during this Contract, Supplier must promptly notify Sourcewell in writing.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Authorised Persons If § 3.4 (Authorised Persons) is specified as applying to a Party in the Election Sheet, Individual Contracts may be negotiated, confirmed and signed on behalf of that Party exclusively by those persons listed by it for such purposes as may be specified in an Annex to this General Agreement. Each Party may unilaterally amend and supplement in writing the list of persons currently authorised to act on its behalf at any time. Such amendments and supplements shall become effective upon their receipt by the other Party.

  • Designated Representative A. Contractor designates as contract agent with primary responsibility for the performance of this contract. In case this contract agent is replaced by another for any reason, the Contractor will designate another contract agent within seven (7) calendar days of the time the first terminates his or her employment or responsibility using the procedure set for in Section O, Notices.
