General Staff Employees i) Overtime is only payable to casual general staff employees in respect of work on any one day in excess of 20% of the ordinary weekly hours of equivalent full-time employees. In respect of such excess, an employee will receive the greater of overtime rates or the casual loading, but not both.

General Staff Employees. 68.2.1 These provisions shall apply only to employees holding continuing appointments and do not apply to fixed-term, probationary or casual general staff employees.

  • Laid Off Employees A) Should vacancies occur following layoff, those employees on layoff will be recalled to these positions in order of seniority providing they have the capabilities and the qualifications to perform the duties of the vacant position.
