Full-Time Adjunct Faculty Member. Absences or vacancies caused by full-time faculty members who are ill or on other approved leave may be filled with a full-time adjunct faculty member until such time as the full-time faculty member returns to work. Full-time adjunct faculty members may also fill a vacancy resulting from a full-time faculty member's resignation, promotion, transfer or death. A full-time adjunct faculty member may be hired to assume the complete assignment or load of the full-time faculty member until such time as a new faculty member is hired. Full-time adjunct faculty members may be hired to assume unassigned classes or assignments during the Spring/Summer semester and/or Spring/Summer sessions. Full-time adjunct faculty members shall not be subject to the provisions of this Agreement except that their assigned work load will conform to the conditions of this Agreement. Part time adjunct and part time nursing faculty members may teach up to a maximum of 12 hours per week. This is applicable only for sections that meet 90 clinical/lab contact hours per 7.5 week session or up to a maximum of 180 clinical/lab hours per 15 week semester.   • Full-Time Nurse A nurse who is hired on a permanent basis and who normally works seven (7) hours per day on a thirty-five (35) hour week, normally Monday to Friday unless specifically hired to work an alternate schedule.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Full-Time Status In addition to the duties and responsibilities specifically assigned to the Executive pursuant to Section 2.1 hereof, the Executive shall:

  • Full-Time Only During the year of the leave, seniority shall continue to accumulate. Service for the purposes of vacation and salary progression and other benefits will be retained but will not accumulate during the period of the leave.

  • Full Time; Best Efforts The Executive shall use his best efforts to promote the interests of the Company and shall devote his full business time and efforts to its business and affairs and shall not provide management services to any other company or otherwise engage in business activities that would reasonably be expected to materially interfere with the performance of the Executive’s duties, services and responsibilities hereunder.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular, full-time employee is one who is scheduled to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, on a regular basis.

  • Full Time and Attention During the Employment Term, Executive shall devote his or her full time and attention to the business of the Company and will not, without the prior written consent of the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, be engaged (whether or not during normal business hours) in any other business or professional activity, whether or not such activities are pursued for gain, profit or other pecuniary advantage. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Executive shall not be prevented from (a) engaging in any civic or charitable activity for which Executive receives no compensation or other pecuniary advantage, (b) investing his or her personal assets in businesses which do not compete with the Company, provided that such investments will not require any services on the part of Executive in the operation of the affairs of the businesses and that Executive’s participation is solely that of an investor, or (c) purchasing securities in any corporation whose securities are regularly traded, provided that such purchases will not result in Executive owning beneficially at any time 5% or more of the equity securities of any corporation engaged in a business competitive with that of the Company.

  • Permanent Full-Time Employees Pay and benefits will be computed on a monthly pay status basis.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.
