Fire Safety Equipment. Intentional fire setting (Arson), tampering with, or misuse of fire safety equipment (including automatic door closures, smoke detectors, sprinkler heads, fire-alarm systems, fire-fighting equipment, or building security systems), including the covering or removal of smoke detectors, is illegal and prohibited.

Fire Safety Equipment. Tenant agrees to notify Housing Services when the Rental Property's smoke alarm is not in proper working order. Tenant may not disable smoke detectors or tamper with any fire safety equipment. Such disabling or tampering may result in Termination of this Agreement. Tenant shall not hang any item on the fire pipes or sprinklers, and Tenant shall be responsible for any damages resulting from such action.
Fire Safety Equipment. You will be required to pay for the cost of re-filling or replacing fire extinguishers or fire blankets and other fire prevention equipment if these items are deliberately misused or found to be missing.

Tenant may be charged for repairing or replacing smoke detector(s) and fire extinguisher if Landlord determines that either has been destroyed or tampered with by Tenant or anyone related to, associated with, or affiliated in any way with Tenant. It is Xxxxxxxx’s desire that Premises have at all times a working smoke detector(s) and fire extinguisher. In the event smoke detector(s) or fire extinguisher should fail Tenant shall notify Landlord immediately in writing and Landlord shall replace same within seven (7) business days after receipt of notice.

Students Halls Assistant, the Responsible SCA of the building or the security guard of the Housing Office or the Security and Health Office presents a relative report to the Security and Health Office, which in turn directly charges the offender for every damaged or stolen part of the equipment and takes disciplinary measures (see paragraph 18). If the offender is not found, then all the tenants of the specific building are obliged to pay the penalty (see paragraph 18).
