ELIGIBILITY/DURATION. 1. Subject to program needs, stipend vacancies will normally be filled by the teachers in the building where the vacancy arises. If this is not possible, the position(s) in question will be posted once for one (1) week in all schools to first seek interested teacher and then non-teacher applicants.

ELIGIBILITY/DURATION. Regular daily and hourly employees and regular full-time employees who have been employed by the District for at least one (1) year shall be eligible for an unpaid personal leave of absence for a period of not less than six (6) consecutive months nor longer than one (1) calendar year. No extensions for a personal unpaid leave of absence under the provisions of this Section shall be granted except that an employee may request an extension of not more than six (6) consecutive months for the purposes of child care, child rearing, or disability.
ELIGIBILITY/DURATION. Any employee who applies for and is approved by the Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS) for a disability retirement shall be entitled to an unpaid leave of absence. If said disability retirement is made permanent by the PSERS, the employee shall resign his/her position.

High School students who seek to register in a dual credit course, which will grant college credit must prove “college readiness” by achieving a college level score as outlined in Appendix A.

  • Continuing Eligibility To continue health benefits, a permanent intermittent employee must be credited with a minimum of 480 paid hours in a control period or 960 paid hours in two consecutive control periods.
