Education Assistance Benefit. Education Assistance shall be offered to Transition Employees according to the current benefits as listed in Contract Attachment O. Contractor may also offer their own educational assistance in place of this benefit. If the Transition Employee chooses this benefit, the following payment methodology will be used.

Revised 05/08/2018 2018 - 2019 BENEFITS* ADDENDUM TO LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION AGREEMENT X. Xxxxxx offers three medical plans administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan - the Traditional plan, Health Savings plan (with a Health Savings Account (HSA)) and the Essential plan. Loyola offers these plans for Residents and their eligible dependents on a pre-tax basis9. Both Loyola and the Resident share in the expense for medical plan coverage. Coverage is effective on the first day of the term of this Agreement if the Resident timely enrolls in coverage during the initial enrollment period10. A Resident will also be eligible to participate in each annual open enrollment period. If a Resident enrolls in a medical plan offered by Loyola, the Resident and the Resident’s dependents enrolled in the medical plan, if any, are automatically enrolled in prescription drug coverage administered by CVS Caremark. If a Resident enrolls in the Health Savings medical plan, Loyola makes a contribution to the Resident’s HSA and the Resident may make pre-tax contributions to his or her HSA. In order to continue to pay the lower employee cost-sharing for medical plan coverage, the Resident and, if the Resident enrolls an eligible adult in the medical plan, the eligible adult, must timely complete a wellness health assessment and certain wellness activities.

  • Education Assistance The lay-off may be eligible to apply for this option if:

  • Education & Assistance Fund a. The Employer shall contribute and remit such contributions to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund as specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement.

  • TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM A. As part of the University policy to encourage staff members to further their formal education, the Tuition Assistance Program for Employees was established. Under the Tuition Assistance plan, qualified Employees will be issued vouchers which will enable them to register without paying tuition. (Incidental fees, however, must be paid by the Employee.)

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Termination Assistance Upon nearing the end of the final term or termination of this Agreement, without respect to cause, the Party shall take all reasonable and prudent measures to facilitate any transition required by the State. All State property, tangible and intangible, shall be returned to the State upon demand at no additional cost to the State in a format acceptable to the State.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s).

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.
