Distinguished Teaching Award. Each academic year four (4) faculty will be selected for a Distinguished Teaching Award. Distinguished Teaching Award winners will be selected during Spring semester of each year by a committee consisting of the previous year’s Distinguished Teaching Award winners, and one academic administrator appointed by the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs. Winners of the Distinguished Teaching Award will receive a one-time after-tax bonus of $3,000 and will be provided with a reserved parking space for one semester of their choice during the following academic year. In addition, full-time faculty who win the Distinguished Teaching Award will be provided with two (2) hours of reassigned time during Spring semester in order to perform classroom observations of the next year’s nominees and to participate on the selection committee for the next year’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
Distinguished Teaching Award. It is hereby agreed by and between the Employer and Union that the Employer shall adopt a Distinguished Teaching Awards program for Employees.
Distinguished Teaching Award. Because the Bargaining Unit Faculty enriches the College in so many ways and is a significant part of its teaching excellence, the College shall establish a distinguished teaching award to be given to a Bargaining Unit Faculty member to honor those who have excelled and have made a significant contribution to the mission of the College. This award will be given annually. Nominations for this award shall be made by the Bargaining Unit Faculty as described below and the candidates nominated will be chosen by a vote of the Bargaining Unit Faculty.
