Department of Public Health. 115. Management shall notify the Union in writing at least forty (40) working days before the elimination and reduction of DPH service which has an impact on bargaining unit members’ wages, hours or working conditions. The parties shall begin to meet and confer concerning all issues relevant to the scope of representation within fifteen (15) working days of a request to meet and confer by the Union. Pursuant to this process, upon the request of the Union, management will expeditiously provide in writing, all existing information concerning such a proposed service change.
Department of Public Health. 12. During the term of this Agreement (FY 2012-2013 & FY 2013-2014), a subcommittee shall be established between the Department and the Union and shall meet by no later than September 30, 2012, to further discuss night duty, standby, and call back for their represented employees.
Department of Public Health. 1. On-call assignment is defined as a work-shift of no less than one day in which the Unit 10 employee is: (1) available by telephone or electronic paging device at all times; and (2) normally immediately available to return to the facility for any emergency response deemed necessary by the employee or supervisor. On-call assignment shall be in addition to the employee’s normal work schedule. If the State deems it necessary, the State shall issue a Unit 10 employee an electronic paging device during an on-call assignment.
Department of Public Health staff may participate in faculty meetings to provide information on health department services.
