Normal Work Schedule. 130. Compensation fixed herein on a per diem basis are for a normal eight-hour work day; and on a bi-weekly basis for a bi-weekly period of service consisting of normal work schedules.
Normal Work Schedule. The work schedule for full-time employees shall normally be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (with one half-hour for lunch) or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with one hour for lunch) daily. Work hours may vary based on program need. Except for emergencies or call back provisions, pursuant to Article 10, section 5, employees are not required to respond to emails, texts, voicemails or other communications sent after work hours until they return to work.
Normal Work Schedule. An employee will normally work eight (8) hours in a workday and five (5) days in a workweek and shall normally receive two (2) consecutive days off, but not necessarily in the same workweek. Employees in the Water Treatment Plant may work 6 shifts on and 2 shifts off.
Normal Work Schedule. (1) A regular employee's working schedule will not be altered unless he/she has been given a minimum of seven (7) working days advance notice of the alteration. Where the Employer fails to give a regular employee seven (7) working days advance notice of an alteration in his/her normal work schedule, the Employer shall pay the employee at the rate of time and one-half (1½T) for all regular hours worked on the first day or shift worked following receipt of the notice of the change. Subsequent days or shifts worked on the revised hours shall be paid for at straight- time, subject to the overtime provisions of this Agreement.

A normal workday is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. A normal workweek is a tour of duty on each of five (5) days within a seven (7) day period. Any change to the current Monday through Friday work schedule or current work hours shall be subject to meet & confer as provided in Article I.B. In addition, a shift of ten (10) hours or twelve (12) hours per day may be authorized by the Department as normal for employees covered by this CBA provided that the shift will not result in more than eighty (80) hours of scheduled work per payroll period.
