Construction Commences. 1.7.1 The purchaser agrees to commence construction on one 2.5-acre parcel within 24 months and on a second 2.5 acre parcel within 36 months. For clarity, construction will have been considered commences once Site Plan approval, Building Permit issuance and the pouring of footings has started.

Construction Commences. The Lessor shall submit to the Contracting Officer written progress reports at intervals of thirty (30) calendar days. The report shall include information as to percentage of the work completed by phase and trade, a statement as to expected completion and occupancy date, changes introduced into the work, and general remarks on such items as material shortages, strikes, weather, etc. The Government reserves the right to access any space within the building during the construction of the improvements for the purposes of performing inspections or installing Government furnished equipment. The Government shall coordinate with the Lessor the activity of the Government and its representatives and contractors in order to minimize conflicts with and disruption to other contractors on site. Access shall not be denied to authorized Government officials including, but not limited to, Government contractors, subcontractors, or consultants acting on behalf of the Government with respect to this projects. Periodic reviews, tests, and inspections shall be completed by the Government to review compliance with the solicitation requirements and the final construction documents. These inspections are not to be interpreted as resulting in any approval of the Lessor’s apparent progress toward meeting the Government’s objectives, but are intended to discover any information which the Contracting Officer may be able to call to the Lessor’s attention prevent costly misdirection of effort. 1.6
