Child Care Leave and Adoption Leave. A. A child care leave shall be granted by the school district subject to the provisions of this Section. Child care leave may be granted because of the need to prepare and/or provide parental care for a child or children of the employee for an extended period of time.

Child Care Leave and Adoption Leave. (a) An employee who is the natural or adoptive parent shall be granted upon request in writing, child care leave or adoption leave without pay for a period up to sixty-two (62) weeks.

  • Parental and Adoption Leave Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to parental or adoption leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she/he has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E. I.) benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act, 1996, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.) Plan.
