Injured on Duty. 40.1 Employees prevented from completing a shift due to a bona fide injury sustained while on duty will be paid for their full shift at straight time rates of pay, unless they receive Worker's Compensation benefits for the day of the injury in which case the employees will be paid the difference between such compensation and payment for their full shift.

Injured on Duty. A. When an employee is disabled and unable to work because of an injury or illness arising out of the course of his/her employment, he/she shall be granted an injury leave with full pay for a period up to thirty (30) calendar days, provided such employee:
Injured on Duty. The Town of Cape Xxxxxxxxx provides Workers' Compensation Insurance Coverage for all employees. Any employee who sustains a personal injury or compensable illness arising out of and in the course of employment shall be paid during each week of total incapacity to work resulting from the injury an amount sufficient, when added to the weekly payment of Workers' Compensation paid with the laws of the State, to equal regular salary or normal wage. Such additional payments shall not be continued beyond 8 weeks except upon approval by the Town Manager. No additional payments shall be made in any instance when, in the opinion of the Director of Public Works and Town Manager, the accident occurred as a result of intoxication, violation of rules and regulations on the part of the employee, or while the employee was in the employ of any other person, firm, entity or corporation.

Injured on Duty. 19.01 When a member of the Service is absent by reason of illness or injury occasioned by, or as a result of his/her duties within the meaning of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the member will be entitled to his/her full pay and benefits while the member is thereby incapacitated, and there shall be no loss of accumulated sick credits. "Full pay" shall be interpreted so as to preclude the possibility of members receiving a greater net pay while on Compensation than while working.
Injured on Duty. 21.1 An Employee, who in the ordinary course of employment, while acting in a reasonable and prudent manner and in compliance with established rules and procedures of the Employer, is injured during the performance of the Employee's duties and thereby unable to work, shall be paid the difference between the Employee's regular pay and the workers' compensation insurance payments for a period not to exceed 720 scheduled working hours per injury, not charged to the Employee's annual leave or other accumulated paid benefits. Any injury that does not result in compensation under the workers' compensation law shall not be compensable under this Article.
