Where planned short term absences for one day or part of a single day (i.e. medical appointments) are required, staff members should seek to cover these absences in accordance with sub-clause 57.1.

Carers Responsibilities. An Employee is entitled to use personal leave to care for members of his or her immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support, or for an unexpected emergency affecting the member. This entitlement is subject to the Employee being responsible for the care and support of the person concerned. The Employee may be asked to provide appropriate medical evidence to support any application for carer’s leave, and will be required to provide medical evidence for any application of more than one day.
Carers Responsibilities. 4.1 Carers can end their registration with Continuity Care at any time by giving reasonable notice. Continuity Care can terminate the Carer’s registration without notice. If within 6 months of this notice, the Carer enters into an arrangement with a Client introduced to them by Continuity Care, they must inform us in writing as soon as possible. If the Carer does not adhere to this, Continuity Care reserves the right to end the Carer’s registration indefinitely.
