If he or she declines, the next senior employee shall have such option and so on. The final vacancy shall be offered to the senior employee laid off. Acceptance of a position shall be considered equivalent to a successful bid. Employees bidding into the laboratory, who have held a position in the laboratory, Craft group VI, within the last 5 years, will not be required to retake the written test. Job postings will have a twenty-four hour cool-off period commencing immediately after the bid closes but excluding Saturday and Sunday. At the end of the twenty-four hour period employees who have bid on the job may decide if they wish to let their bid stand or withdraw it. If the bid remains, normal bidding rules will prevail. If the bid is withdrawn during the twenty-four hour period only, then there will be no loss of bidding rights. If after securing the bid job the employee doesn’t qualify after the training period, he/she goes back to the position they left. Job vacancies will be posted with no less than hours between postings, except that multiple postings will be permitted within the same classification. The successful applicants’ names will be posted within eight hours. Successful applicants will be put on the job within four weeks of the award. Only one change as a result of successful bidding shall be permitted, per employee, per year. Promotions to management positions shall be at the discretion of management. In the event of the Company terminating an employee, that employee’s job will not be posted for bid until the Company’s final position, as expressed in the third stage meeting reply on the grievance, is issued.

BIDDING FOR VACANT POSITIONS. (a) All new positions and vacancies shall be publicly posted and shall remain on all the plant notice boards for a period of seven (7) calendar days. will include the number of vacancies in the classification, qualifications where appropriate (trades, laboratory), as well as the opening and closing time for applications to be submitted. No applications will be accepted after the closing time listed on the job posting. Current laboratory employees will be grandfathered in their roles, and will not be required to meet the new qualifications; however any new employees posting into the Laboratory will be required to meet Qualifications as determined by Management. Employees bidding into the Laboratory who have held a position in the laboratory craft group within the last eight (8) years will not be required to meet the revised qualifications or retake the written test. Vacancies from different classifications may be posted simultaneously and in such situations employees may bid on more than one role at the same time. All applications for job must be submitted by the employee, writing, on the Job Application form, with one (1) copy provided to the Human Resources Department and one copy provided to the appropriate Xxxxxxx.

  • Retraining for Positions within the Hospital Where, with the benefit of retraining of up to six (6) months, an employee who has either accepted the layoff or who is unable to displace any other employee could be redeployed to a hospital position identified by the Redeployment Committee in accordance with Article 9.08(d)(i):

  • Proposed Services A description of the Contractor’s proposed services to accomplish the specified work requirements, including dates of completion.

  • Outpatient emergency and urgicenter services within the service area The emergency room copay applies to all outpatient emergency visits that do not result in hospital admission within twenty-four (24) hours. The urgicenter copay is the same as the primary care clinic office visit copay.

  • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Scaling Locations, Rules, and Organizations All logs from timber sold under the terms and conditions of this contract shall be: (1) scaled at a location approved in writing by STATE; (2) scaled by a third-party scaling organization with a current agreement with STATE; and (3) scaled using the Official Log Scaling and Grading Rules (as adopted by the Northwest Log Rules Advisory Group) and STATE special service scaling instructions in effect at the time the logs are scaled. Utilization scale shall be handled in accordance with the section titled, “Utilization Scale.” PURCHASER shall enter into a written agreement with a third-party scaling organization for the scaling of logs removed from the timber sale area. PURCHASER shall furnish STATE with a copy of the scaling agreement upon request. If logs are delivered when a TPSO scaler is not present, PURCHASER must provide STATE with a method to assure protection and accountability. PURCHASER shall provide STATE with remote check scaling opportunities for logs scaled under this contract. The last two loads at each delivery point shall be continuously available for checking. They shall remain available for a minimum of 48 hours unless replaced by other STATE loads. They shall be available as originally presented for scaling; i.e., if truck scaled, they shall be presented in bunks. In the event scaling is suspended for any reason, hauling operations shall be immediately suspended until approved alternate scaling services are provided, or service by the scaling organization is resumed.

  • Scope of Interconnection Service 1.3.1 The NYISO will provide Energy Resource Interconnection Service to Interconnection Customer at the Point of Interconnection.
