Retirement Benefits definition

Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;
Retirement Benefits means any pension, lump sum, gratuity or similar benefit provided or to be provided on or after retirement (including early retirement), death or disability in respect of an Employee’s employment, but excluding benefits provided under an arrangement, the sole purpose of which is to provide benefits on the accidental injury or death of an Automatic Transfer Employee.
Retirement Benefits means the benefits described in Section 3.1(b) hereof.

Examples of Retirement Benefits in a sentence

  • If the Executive engages in either (1) or (2), then all Retirement Benefits shall terminate immediately and permanently.

  • If the Release of Claims does not become effective by the Release Agreement Deadline, the Executive will forfeit any right to severance benefits or Retirement Benefits pursuant to this Agreement.

  • The Plan Administrator shall determine the rights of any person to any Excess Retirement Benefits hereunder.

  • The Plan Administrator may delegate any of its administrative duties, including, without limitation, duties with respect to the processing, review, investigation, approval and payment of Excess Retirement Benefits, to a named administrator or administrators.

  • If you or your Surviving Spouse is eligible to receive benefits hereunder, unless otherwise specifically agreed by the Company in writing, you and your Surviving Spouse will not be able to receive benefits under any other Company sponsored non-qualified retirement plans other than the Company’s Retirement Benefits Restoration Plan.


More Definitions of Retirement Benefits

Retirement Benefits means the benefits set forth in Section 5.1.
