Residential Parking Permit Area definition

Residential Parking Permit Area means a residential district where on-street parking on public rights-of-way is restricted as set forth in this article during hours and days fixed by Council to not more than two consecutive hours unless the vehicle properly displays a parking permit authorized by this article.
Residential Parking Permit Area means a residential district where curbside parking on public highways is limited by posted durational parking signs not to exceed two (2) consecutive hours and shall be enforceable between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. except on Sundays or holidays, unless the vehicle properly displays a residential parking permit authorized by this Ordinance; and
Residential Parking Permit Area means a paid parking place on a public road or in a Council car park where traffic sign No RUS 018 together with an accompanying information plate indicates that parking of vehicles is subject to the payment of a parking fee, the display of a Pay & Display parking ticket, or the display of a valid resident parking permit / visitor parking permit, or the parked vehicle having a valid electronic / virtual resident parking permit / visitor parking permit issued to it under the conditions of issuance as determined by the Council.

Examples of Residential Parking Permit Area in a sentence

  • A permit issued by the SFMTA to a specified vehicle that authorizes such vehicle to Park in the Residential Parking Permit Area without being subject to enforcement of Residential Parking Permit Area time restrictions.

  • A Residential Parking Permit does not guarantee or reserve to the Permittee an on-street parking space within a Residential Parking Permit Area.

  • A Residential Parking Permit may be issued to residents of a Residential Parking Permit Area for motor vehicles registered out-of-state, provided that the applicant documents the resident's active military duty status.

  • The permit shall exempt the holder from Residential Parking Permit Area regulations on weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. when performing official functions for the SFUSD, and shall be valid for one year.

  • A full-time student who is a legal resident of the Residential Parking Permit Area who presents a valid current full-time class schedule issued by an Educational Institution located within the City.

  • Upon written request from the Educational Institution documenting the need for more than 15 permits, the Director of Transportation may issue up to an additional five permits if the total number may not exceed the limitation in subsection 905(g)(3)(B) above, and if Parking occupancy in the Residential Parking Permit Area surrounding the Educational Institution is low enough to accommodate the additional permits.

  • Upon written request, the Director of Transportation shall issue transferable Parking permits to the Transportation Broker of an Educational Institution with at least 15 certificated employees or Persons regularly employed as classroom teachers and located within a Residential Parking Permit Area valid between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on school days for the use of persons employed as teachers at such Institution who reside outside of the Residential Parking Permit Area.

  • A legal resident of a Residential Parking Permit Area for use by a bona fide visitor.

  • Nothing in this Section is intended to limit the SFMTA's ability to recommend a Residential Parking Permit Area on its own initiative for public hearing and approval by the SFMTA Board of Directors.

  • The Director of Transportation is authorized to issue a transferable Parking Permit to residents of a Residential Parking Permit Area for use of Persons who, on a regular basis, provide childcare services essential to the well-being of a child 12 years old or under who resides with the resident.


More Definitions of Residential Parking Permit Area

Residential Parking Permit Area means a Pay and Display Ticket Parking Place on a public road or in a Council car park where Traffic Sign No RUS 018 together with an accompanying information plate indicates that parking of vehicles is subject to the exhibition of a Pay and Display parking ticket or a Residents’ Parking Permit;
Residential Parking Permit Area means a parking area on a road where traffic sign number RUS 018 together with an accompanying information plate indicates that parking of vehicles is subject to the parking fee or the display of a valid resident’s parking permit;
Residential Parking Permit Area means a residential district where curbside parking on public highways is limited to not more than two (2) consecutive hours between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. on weekdays, excepting holidays, unless the vehicle properly displays a parking permit authorized by this Ordinance; and
Residential Parking Permit Area means a residential district where curbside parking on public streets, roads and highways is restricted, unless the vehicle properly displays a parking permit authorized by this regulation;
Residential Parking Permit Area means a residential district where curbside parking on public streets and highways is limited to not more than two (2) consecutive hours per day, unless the vehicle properly displays a parking permit authorized by this Article IV.

  • Parking Permit means a permit issued by the Council to residents allowing the parking of a vehicle in a residents parking bay on the highway within the area of the Council but not including a disabled person’s “purple badge” issued pursuant to Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970

  • Residential Zone means a zone earmarked for buildings exclusively designed for human habitation and in no case shall include its use in whole or a part thereof for any other purpose e.g commercial activities, school, institution, shop, office, clinic, beauty parlor, guest house, marriage center, gymnasium, tuition center, club activities, work-shop, store or godown etc. or for the purpose of political, religious and sectarian activities. It includes parks, gardens, play grounds, sector shops and other open spaces located in the area earmarked in the residential zone.

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;

  • residential land means land used or capable of being used for residential purposes (but does not include land on which there is no residential dwelling).

  • Residential Project means a redevelopment project that is

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

  • Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;

  • Building Common Areas means with respect to the Tower, the areas, facilities and amenities specified in Schedule [E] which are to be used and enjoyed in common with all the other Apartment Acquirers of the Units in the Building; and

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Adjacent area means the area outside the affected area or permit area where air, surface or ground water, fish, wildlife, vegetation or other resources protected by Chapter 1513. of the Revised Code, determined according to the context in which "adjacent area" is used, are or reasonably could be expected to be adversely affected by proposed coal mining and reclamation operations including probable impacts from underground workings. With respect to underground mining operations, "adjacent area" shall include, at a minimum, the surface areas above full coal recovery areas.

  • residential premises means a house, building, structure, shelter, or mobile home, or portion thereof, used as a dwelling, home, residence, or living place by 1 or more human beings. “Residential premises” includes an apartment unit, a boardinghouse, a rooming house, a mobile home, a mobile home space, and a single or multiple family dwelling, but does not include a hotel, a motel, motor home, or other tourist accommodation, when used as a temporary accommodation for guests or tourists, or premises used as the principal place of residence of the owner and rented occasionally during temporary absences including vacation or sabbatical leave.

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.

  • Limited common areas and facilities means those common areas and facilities

  • communal land means land under the jurisdiction of a traditional council determined in terms of section 6 of the Eastern Cape Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, (Act 4 of 2005) and which was at any time vested in -

  • Residential rental property means property that is used solely as leased or rented property for residential purposes. If the property is a space rental mobile home park, residential rental property includes the rental space that is leased or rented by the owner of that rental space but does not include the mobile home or recreational vehicle that serves as the actual dwelling if the dwelling is owned and occupied by the tenant of the rental space and not by the owner of the rental space.
