Subject to the Terms of this insurance, and in the event the Insured Person has an Accident during the Period of Coverage which results in death during the Period of Coverage, the Company will pay an Accidental Death benefit in the amount of the Principal Sum shown in the BENEFIT SUMMARY.The Insured Person’s death must occur within ninety (90) days of the Accident and result, directly and independently of all other causes, from an accidental bodily Injury which is unintended, unexpected, and unforeseen.
The Company will pay transportation and related medical Expenses incurred during such transportation up to the amount set forth in the Schedule of Benefits if any covered Injury or Illness commences while You are outside Your Home Country during the Period of Coverage and results in Your Medically Necessary (i) Emergency Medical Evacuation or (ii) Emergency Medical Repatriation.
No more than one (1) visit may be made during any Period of Coverage.
Unless an exception applies (as described in Article XI), such election is irrevocable for the duration of the Period of Coverage to which it relates.
No Medical Treatment Benefit is payable for Reasonable Expenses incurred after the Covered Person’s insurance terminates as stated in the Period of Coverage provision.
