essential service means furnishing water, light, heat, gas, electric power, public passenger transportation or commu- nication, or any one or more of them, to the public in this state.
Residential service means water service provided for domestic or irrigation purposes in a residential area and is not considered a commercial service.

Essential Services means the following services: HVAC service, water, sewer and electricity, but in each case only to the extent that Landlord has an obligation to provide same to Tenant under this Lease. The provisions of this paragraph shall only apply as long as the original Tenant is the tenant occupying the Premises under this Lease and shall not apply to any assignee or sublessee.
Residential services means a complete range of residences
Service Areas means those areas within the Building used for stairs, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks, pipe shafts and other vertical penetrations (but shall not include any such areas for the exclusive use of a particular tenant).
Primary service area means that area within a five (5) mile radius from any imaging center owned, operated or managed by Administrator, Parent or their Affiliates for which the Group provides professional Radiology services or any hospital at which on-site professional Radiology services are then provided by Physician Employee(s) or Physician Extender Employee(s) of the Group.
Provider Service means a Provider’s hosted online services (if any) as described in the Solution Exhibit which is provided by Provider to Customers located in the Territory through remote access via the Internet as part of the BPO Service. A Provider Platform Application shall be considered a Provider Service.

Special service district means the same as that term is defined in Section 17D-1-102.
Covered Building Service Employee means any person performing building service work for a Covered Building Service Employer, either directly or through a contract or subcontract.
Covered Building Service Contract means a contract or subcontract to provide Building Services to the City of Cambridge or any of its departments or subdivisions.
Water Service means the procurement, treatment, and distribution of water for domestic use or any other purpose for which water can be used.
School service means a website, mobile application or online service that (i) is designed and marketed solely for use in elementary or secondary schools; (ii) is used (a) at the direction of teachers or other employees at elementary or secondary schools or (b) by any school-affiliated entity; and (iii) collects and maintains, uses or shares student personal information. "School service" does not include a website, mobile application or online service that is (a) used for the purposes of college and career readiness assessment or (b) designed and marketed for use by individuals or entities generally, even if it is also marketed for use in elementary or secondary schools.

public service infrastructure means publicly controlled infrastructure of the following kinds:
technical service means an organisation or body designated by the approval authority of a Member State as a testing laboratory to carry out tests, or as a conformity assessment body to carry out the initial assessment and other tests or inspections, on behalf of the approval authority, it being possible for the approval authority itself to carry out those functions;
Juvenile correctional center, "JCC," or "facility" means a public or private facility, operated by or under contract with the Department of Juvenile Justice, where 24-hour per day care is provided to residents under the direct care of the department.
Architectural services means those services described as the "practice of architecture," as defined in K.S.A. 74-7003, and amendments thereto.
Unfit-for-use tank system means a tank system that has been determined through an integrity assessment or other inspection to be no longer capable of storing or treating hazardous waste without posing a threat of release of hazardous waste to the environment.
Building Services Definitions
911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.
Transportation Service means a service for moving people and goods, such as intercity bus service and passenger rail service.
Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider. Health service area or “HSA” refers to the distinct geographic regions described in Section 4.1.4 or the Vermont Blueprint for Health Manual.
Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.
