Energy Resource Interconnection Service allows Interconnection Customer to connect the Generating Facility to the Transmission System or the Distribution System.
Interconnection Customer and Transmission Provider shall use Reasonable Efforts to coordinate with each other, following the Initial Synchronization Date, on technical matters related to the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generation Facility and the Interconnection Facilities as well as the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer.
When the interconnection is to the Transmission System, Energy Resource Interconnection Service provides the opportunity for the Interconnection Customer to be eligible to deliver the Generating Facility's electric output using the existing firm or non-firm capacity of the Transmission Provider's Transmission System on an as available basis.
Transmission Provider shall provide Interconnection Service, at Interconnection Customer’s expense, for the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection.
When the interconnection is to the Distribution System, the Interconnection Customer does not qualify for Network Resource Interconnection Service.
