Parliamentary Service definition

Parliamentary Service means employment under the Parliamentary Service Act 1999.
Parliamentary Service means the Parliamentary Service established under Article 217 of the Constitution;
Parliamentary Service means the service established under section 3; “Standing Orders” means the Standing Orders of the National Assembly; “Speaker” means the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Examples of Parliamentary Service in a sentence

  • An employee of the Parliamentary Service who is appointed by way of promotion shall be appointed on probation for a period of not less than 6 months.

  • A person appointed to the Parliamentary Service shall be appointed on probation for a period of not less than 12 months.

  • Parliamentary Service Costs incorporate both capital and revenue projects.

  • The offices of the Clerks and offices of members of the staff of the Clerks shall be offices in the Parliamentary Service.

  • Where an employee is engaged as either an ongoing or non-ongoing APS employee immediately following a period of ongoing employment in the Parliamentary Service or the ACT Government Service, the employee’s unused accrued annual leave and personal/carer’s leave (however described) will be recognised.


More Definitions of Parliamentary Service

Parliamentary Service means service in a Department of the Parliament.

Primary caregiver for the purposes of Division 6.8 means a pregnant employee with an entitlement under the ML Act, or an employee other than a casual employee who has primary care responsibility for a child who is born to them or who is adopted or in long-term xxxxxx care as per the clauses on adoption and long-term xxxxxx care in this Agreement.
