Non-Covered Employee definition

Non-Covered Employee means an employee of the Fund or Royce who is excluded from the definition of Covered Person pursuant to clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) thereof.
Non-Covered Employee means any Employee who is not eligible to participate in the State Universities Retirement System or entitled to any benefits under the State Universities Retirement System as an annuitant, disabled member, or vested deferred member, except (i) students enrolled and regularly attending classes at the Employer and exempt from Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) within the meaning of Code Section 3121(b)(10) or
Non-Covered Employee means a Participant who is not a Covered Employee.

More Definitions of Non-Covered Employee

Non-Covered Employee means an individual employed by Architect/Engineer, a consultant or a sub-consultant under this Agreement or an individual Architect/Engineer or individual consultant or sub- consultant under this Agreement who will be entering the Project site at any time under this Agreement and is not a covered employee under Subsection G above.
Non-Covered Employee means a state employee whose employment relationship is not governed by a collective bargaining agreement with the State of Vermont. Non-covered Employees include temporary employees, most exempt employees, and classified managerial and confidential employees.

Related to Non-Covered Employee

  • Covered Employee means an employee who is a “Covered Employee” within the meaning of Section 162(m) of the Code.

Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.

  • Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.

  • Section 162(m) Participant means any key Employee designated by the Administrator as a key Employee whose compensation for the fiscal year in which the key Employee is so designated or a future fiscal year may be subject to the limit on deductible compensation imposed by Section 162(m) of the Code.

  • Probationary Employee means an employee who is serving a probation period and is employed in a regular or limited-term position. PROMOTION shall mean the movement of a regular, limited-term or probationary employee from one (1) class to another class where the maximum step on the new salary range is at least one (1) full step higher than the maximum step of the old salary range. REASSIGNMENT shall mean the movement of a regular, limited-term or probationary employee from one (1) class to another class on the same salary range or to a class where the maximum step on the new salary range is less than one (1) full step higher or lower than the maximum step of the old salary range. RECRUITING STEP shall be the first step of the salary range allocated to a class unless otherwise authorized by the Board or the Chief Human Resources Officer. REDUCTION shall mean the movement of a regular, limited-term or probationary employee from one (1) class to another class where the maximum step of the new salary range is at least one (1) full step lower than the maximum step of the old salary range. REGULAR EMPLOYEE shall mean an employee who is not on probation and is employed in a regular or limited-term position. REGULAR POSITION shall mean a position established on a permanent year- round basis requiring work on a regular schedule unless otherwise authorized by minute order of the Board. SENIORITY shall mean total continuous full-time equivalent service as a regular employee.

  • Severance from Employment means severance from employment with the Employer and any Related Entity. However, a Severance from Employment also occurs on any date on which an Employee ceases to be an employee of a public school, even though the Employee may continue to be employed by a Related Employer that is another unit of the State or local government that is not a public school or in a capacity that is not employment with a public school (e.g., ceasing to be an employee performing services for a public school but continuing to work for the same State or local government employer).

  • Eligible Executive means an employee of the Company selected as being eligible to participate in this Plan under Section C.1.a.

  • Executive Employee means those employees of the Company of Grade Level 10 or above.

  • Active Employment means you must be actively at work for the Sponsor:

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Ceased employment means anyone who has exited the organisation for whatever reason, including resignations, redundancies and dismissals.

  • Key Employee means any executive-level employee (including, division director and vice president-level positions) as well as any employee who, either alone or in concert with others, develops, invents, programs, or designs any Company Intellectual Property (as defined in the Purchase Agreement).
