Provisional Interconnection Service definition

Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility to Transmission Provider’s Transmission System and enabling that Transmission System to receive electric energy and capacity from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the Interconnection Service Agreement and, if applicable, the Tariff.
Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Project Developer’s Generating Facility to Transmission Provider’s Transmission System and enabling that Transmission System to receive electric energy and capacity from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection pursuant to the terms of the Interconnection Service Agreement and, if applicable, the Tariff.
Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Project Developer’s Generating Facility to Transmission Provider’s Transmission System and enabling that Transmission System to receive electric energy and capacity from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection.

Examples of Provisional Interconnection Service in a sentence

  • Prior to the completion of the Large Facility Interconnection Procedures and prior to completion of requisite Attachment Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, System Upgrade Facilities, System Distribution Upgrades, or System Protection Facilities, the Developer may request an evaluation for Provisional Interconnection Service.

  • Where available studies indicate that the Attachment Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, System Upgrade Facilities, System Deliverability Upgrades, or System Protection Facilities are required for the interconnection of a new, modified and/or expanded Large Facility but such facilities are not currently in place, NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, will perform a study, at the Developer’s expense, to confirm the facilities that are required for Provisional Interconnection Service.

  • Following a determination by NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, that the Developer may reliably provide Provisional Interconnection Service, NYISO shall tender to the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, a Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement.

  • Interconnection Customer assumes all risk and liabilities with respect to the Provisional Interconnection Service, including changes in output limits and Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, Local Upgrades, and/or system protection facilities cost responsibilities.

  • Where available studies indicate that such Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, Local Upgrades, and/or system protection facilities that are required for the interconnection of a new, modified and/or expanded Generating Facility are not currently in place, Transmission Provider will perform a study, at the Interconnection Customer’s expense, to confirm the facilities that are required for Provisional Interconnection Service.

  • Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement shall mean the interconnection agreement for Provisional Interconnection Service established between the ISO, Connecting Transmission Owner(s) and the Developer.


More Definitions of Provisional Interconnection Service

Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Project Developer’s Generating
Provisional Interconnection Service means a component of the Market Seller Offer Cap calculated in accordance with Tariff, Attachment DD, section 6. “Proportional Multi-Driver Project” shall have the same meaning interconnection service provided in the Operating Agreement.
Provisional Interconnection Service means interconnection service provided by the NYISO associated with interconnecting the Interconnection Customer’s Facility to the New York State Transmission System (or Distribution System as applicable) and enabling the transmission system to receive electric energy from the Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the Provisional Standard Interconnection Agreement and, if applicable, the ISO OATT. Provisional Standard Interconnection Agreement shall mean the interconnection agreement for Provisional Interconnection Service established between the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner(s), and the Interconnection Customer. This agreement shall take the form of the Standard Interconnection Agreement, modified for provisional purposes and type of facility. Reasonable Efforts shall mean, with respect to an action required to be attempted or taken by a Party under this Agreement, efforts that are timely and consistent with Good Utility Practice and are otherwise substantially equivalent to those a Party would use to protect its own interests. Retired shall mean a Generator that has permanently ceased operating on or after May 1, 2015 either: i) pursuant to applicable notice; or ii) as a result of the expiration of its Mothball Outage or its ICAP Ineligible Forced Outage. Site Control shall mean the necessary land right sufficient to develop, construct, operate, and maintain the Facility over a term of at least ten (10) years from the date of submission of the Interconnection Request. Site Control may be demonstrated by documentation establishing: (1) ownership of, a leasehold interest in, or a right to develop a site of sufficient size to construct and operate the Facility; (2) an option to purchase or acquire a leasehold site of sufficient size to construct and operate the Facility; or (3) any other documentation that clearly demonstrates the right of Interconnection Customer to occupy a site of sufficient size to construct and operate the Facility. The term “necessary land right” restricts the use of the site for mutually exclusive projects, but does not restrict multi-use applications of the site in addition to its use for the Facility, such as agriculture, ranching, etc. The ISO will maintain acreage requirements and other applicable parameters for each facility type on its OASIS or public website.

Related to Provisional Interconnection Service

  • Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider.

  • Interconnection Service(s) means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.

  • Interconnection Service Agreement means an agreement among the Transmission Provider, an Interconnection Customer and an Interconnected Transmission Owner regarding interconnection under Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Network Integration Transmission Service means the transmission service provided under Tariff, Part III.

  • Optional Interconnection Study means a sensitivity analysis of an Interconnection Request based on assumptions specified by the Interconnection Customer in the Optional Interconnection Study Agreement.
