WORK BEYOND THE REGULAR WORK YEAR. With the exception of Secondary Counsellors any work performed beyond the teachers‘ regular work year shall be voluntary. Secondary Counsellors may be required to work beyond the regular work year and shall be compensated as outlined in this article. Teachers covered by the agreement who are requested in writing by the Superintendent or designate to work beyond the number of days specified in Article D.14 [unless regular school work is unfinished], shall have the option of being paid at a rate of 1/195th of annual salary per day, or have equal time off in lieu, subject to operational requirements. All other benefits and conditions provided by this agreement shall apply to such work. This provision applies to a teacher required by the Board to attend court during non- teaching days.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR 1. The annual salary established for employees covered by this Collective Agreement shall be payable in respect of the employees’ regular work year. The regular work year shall be the regular school year as established by the Board and shall not exceed one hundred and ninety-five (195) days in session per school year.

Work clothes and safety gear provided by the company are the property of the company. When a new set of work clothes is provided, the worn set shall be handed in. Used safety equipment as mentioned above shall be properly cleaned before being reissued.

  • TEACHER WORK YEAR 6.1.1 Mapleton Public Schools and the Mapleton Education Association believe the teaching profession is demanding and rewarding, requiring time and commitments beyond contractual work hours. We further assert that the people involved in this profession are committed to the interest and lives of the students we serve. We acknowledge that maintaining a balance in personal and professional lives is essential to the health and well-being of all.

  • Regular Work Schedules The regular work schedule for overtime-eligible employees will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with two (2) consecutive calendar days off and starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee.

  • Completion Dates The Recipient agrees to complete each Project within the time periods specified in the Underlying Agreement and all activities must be completed by the Award’s end date, unless FTA agrees in writing to extend the end date. Unless FTA determines otherwise in writing, interim milestone dates and other completion dates applicable to the Award are good faith estimates and are not intended to be firm contractual requirements. However, FTA and the Recipient agree that milestone dates and other completion dates for Full Funding Grant Agreements, Small Starts Grant Agreements or other specific agreements in which FTA expressly states that the milestone dates or other completion dates for the Underlying Agreement are firm dates that may be enforced.

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.
