WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS. If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/ Hurricane Warning" area of residence for the retreat. The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: Any unused portion of fees from a guest currently registered or any unused portion of fees from a participant that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and Any advance fees collected or deposited for a participant that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS. In the event a field/athletic trip or a miscellaneous driving trip is cancelled two (2) hours prior to the time the Driver must report for work for that trip, the Driver will receive no pay for the trip. If a trip is cancelled in less than two (2) hours prior to the time the Driver must report for work for that trip, the Driver will receive two (2) hours of applicable regular pay unless the trip was to be performed concurrently or consecutively with another assignment.
WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS. In the event of weather related emergencies where schools are cancelled or dismissed early due to inclement weather, lessons may be cancelled. Although we make every effort to keep Behind-the-Wheel lessons, our Instructor will determine on road safety and make a determination whether or not to cancel. Whenever lessons are cancelled, students will be notified and we will reschedule their lessons as soon as possible. Because lessons are scheduled close together, instructors cannot wait more than 10 minutes for a student, doing so will affect the other student’s drive-time.   • ASSISTANCE IN RELATED PROCUREMENTS 5.1 Where a Relevant Supplier is bidding to provide New Goods and/or Services in circumstances where the Supplier or an Affiliate of the Supplier is already providing (or due to provide) Legacy Goods and/or Services to a Contracting Body, the Supplier shall promptly provide the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier with all reasonable information and assistance as may be required from time to time to enable the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier, as appropriate, to:

  • Interaction with Other Leaves Paid parental leave will run concurrently with any unpaid leave(s) that parents may be entitled to under other provisions of this Agreement or provided by law. Employees shall not receive other types of paid leave provided by this Agreement (e.g., sick, vacation, compensatory time) for hours for which they are receiving PPL.

  • Special Aggregation Rule Applicable to Relationship Managers For purposes of determining the aggregate balance or value of accounts held by a person to determine whether an account is a High Value Account, a Reporting Financial Institution shall also be required, in the case of any accounts that a relationship manager knows or has reason to know are directly or indirectly owned, controlled, or established (other than in a fiduciary capacity) by the same person, to aggregate all such accounts.

  • STRIKES, LOCKOUTS AND PICKET LINES The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the Union or its bargaining unit members will not authorize, instigate, aid or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, sickout, refusal to work, picketing or strike against the Employer and/or the Agency, its goods, property or on its property. The Agency agrees that during the life of this Agreement there will be no lockout. Upon notification confirmed in writing by the Employer to the Union that certain bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement are engaging in strike activity in violation of this Article, the Union shall advise such striking employees in writing, with a copy to the Department of Administrative Services, to return to work immediately. Such notification by the Union shall not constitute an admission that it has caused or counseled such strike activity.

  • Surgery Services and Mastectomy Related Treatment This plan provides benefits for mastectomy surgery and mastectomy-related services in accordance with the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 and Rhode Island General Law 27-20-29 et seq. For the member receiving mastectomy-related benefits, coverage will be provided in a manner determined in consultation with the attending physician, physician assistant, or an advance practice registered nurse and the patient, for: • all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed; • surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance; • prostheses; and • treatment of physical complications at all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema.   • Interaction with Other Leave Entitlements (a) An employee proceeding on unpaid Maternity Leave may elect to substitute any part of that leave with accrued annual and/or accrued long service leave.

  • Termination Due To Lack Of Funding Appropriation If, in the judgment of the Director of Accounts and Reports, Department of Administration, sufficient funds are not appropriated to continue the function performed in this agreement and for the payment of the charges hereunder, State may terminate this agreement at the end of its current fiscal year. State agrees to give written notice of termination to contractor at least 30 days prior to the end of its current fiscal year, and shall give such notice for a greater period prior to the end of such fiscal year as may be provided in this contract, except that such notice shall not be required prior to 90 days before the end of such fiscal year. Contractor shall have the right, at the end of such fiscal year, to take possession of any equipment provided State under the contract. State will pay to the contractor all regular contractual payments incurred through the end of such fiscal year, plus contractual charges incidental to the return of any such equipment. Upon termination of the agreement by State, title to any such equipment shall revert to contractor at the end of the State's current fiscal year. The termination of the contract pursuant to this paragraph shall not cause any penalty to be charged to the agency or the contractor.

  • Policy or Group Grievance Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or the Union has a grievance, Steps 1 and 2 may be by-passed.

  • Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons If the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated in Clause 2.1, the PEI will, within seven (7) working days of receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the Student an amount based on the table in Schedule D.

  • Safety, breakdowns and accidents 17.5.1 The Concessionaire shall ensure safe conditions for the Users and passengers, and in the event of unsafe conditions, it shall follow the relevant operating procedures and undertake removal of obstruction and debris without delay. Such procedures shall conform to the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws, Applicable Permits and Good Industry Practice.
