Vendor Diversity Clause Samples

The Vendor Diversity clause establishes requirements or preferences for engaging vendors from diverse backgrounds, such as businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, or other underrepresented groups. In practice, this clause may require the contracting party to report on the diversity status of their suppliers, set targets for diverse vendor participation, or actively seek out qualified diverse vendors when procuring goods or services. Its core function is to promote inclusivity and equal opportunity in the supply chain, helping organizations meet social responsibility goals and comply with relevant diversity initiatives or regulations.
