Section 8.7 Any employee covered by this Agreement who is transferred or promoted from a classification covered by this Agreement to a supervisory or other position within the Maintenance Department which is not included within this Agreement shall retain his seniority as of the date of such transfer or promotion, but shall not accumulate any additional seniority.
