Tenure-Track Faculty Clause Samples
The Tenure-Track Faculty clause defines the terms and conditions under which faculty members are appointed to positions that may lead to tenure at an academic institution. It typically outlines eligibility requirements, the probationary period, evaluation criteria, and the process for promotion to tenured status. For example, it may specify the number of years a faculty member must serve before being considered for tenure and the standards for teaching, research, and service that must be met.
