Technical Assistance Grant. Additionally, City may annually reimburse a maximum of $2,000 of SBEP funds to Manager to pay any of the following expenses: (a) accounting services; (b) website public notice compliance assistance; (c) employee handbook updates; (d) upgrading Microsoft Office, Adobe and, every other year, QuickBooks computer software; (e) computer or office equipment (City will tag all property as property of City); (f) professional grant writing assistance; (g) facilitating retreats of board members and staff; (h) District memberships in professional organizations or associations directly related to District’s operations (in each case, subject to approval by the City Representative); or (i) conference registration (travel, lodging, food or drink are not allowable expenses).

College Participation Certification Form Participant Name: The above named Participant is an employee of (“College”), which has agreed that the employee will be performing services to support the Institutional Effectiveness and Technical Assistance Grant (“Grant”) awarded to the Santa Clarita Community College District (“SCCCD”) from the State of California, California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. I acknowledge and agree that the above named Participant is an employee of the College and that the employee: Is authorized by the College to participate and travel as part of the Grant activities. Will follow the SCCCD’s policies regarding travel authorization. Will provide travel authorization documents and documentation of approval by the College to the SCCCD upon request, for audit or other necessary purposes. Will act as a representative of the College which will provide worker’s compensation, liability coverage and other insurance benefits as appropriate. Will be responsible to help achieve the goals and outcomes of the Grant. Will be released to assist with the Grant as detailed in the Institutional Effectiveness and Technical Assistance Grant Participant Expense Agreement, and continue to receive compensation from the College for the employee’s regular assignment.
