Standard Work Period Overtime. Overtime for those employees assigned to the Standard Work Period shall be authorized or required time worked in excess of those hours assigned to their particular Standard Work Period Schedule workday or hours in excess of 40 hours per Work Period. However, subject to Article 8.3 below, if an employee uses sick leave or personal necessity leave as provided for in this MOU in the same Standard Work Period in which he/she works hours in addition to his/her regular hours, the sick leave and/or personal necessity leave shall not count as work hours which shall mean that the additional hours worked shall be paid at straight time if they are less than or equal to the number of sick leave or personal necessity leave hours used in the Standard Work Period. The use of such leave hours shall not affect overtime earned in accordance with Article 8.16 of this MOU.

  • Work Period; Overtime Pay The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Normal Work Period The normal work period shall consist of not less than eighty (80) hours of work nor more than 86 hours of work and ten (10) work days within a fourteen (14) consecutive calendar day work period.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Normal Work Year The normal work year for the Administrator shall be Two Hundred Sixty (260) days between July 1 and June 30 annually which will include all student attendance days and teacher work days. The Administrator shall not be entitled to any additional paid days unless specifically required to work beyond the Two Hundred Sixty (260) day contract by the Superintendent or the Board.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:

  • Standard Work Day The standard work day for non-shift employees shall be seven (7) hours exclusive of the meal period.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties.
