Overtime Earned. Overtime shall be earned at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2) hours for each one (1) hour of overtime worked.
Overtime Earned. The term "overtime earned," as used in subsection 3 of this Article, shall mean the amount of overtime worked times the rate at which it is compensated; for example, one hour of overtime worked that is compensated at straight time rates (1X)*i under this Article shall equal one hour of overtime earned and one hour of overtime worked that is i*Less than two and one-half hours of Court Overtime worked shall equal two and one-half hours of overtime earned at 1.5X base salary. compensated at a rate of time and one-half (1½X) under this Article shall equal 1½ hours of overtime earned.
Overtime Earned. When an overtime-eligible employee is on a 9/80 work schedule, overtime for hours exceeding 40 in a workweek, both under the FLSA and as provided under any applicable M.O.U., will be based on the FLSA workweek. In other words, employees who are eligible for overtime shall receive overtime pay or compensatory time off for hours worked in excess of 36 or 44 hours in their respective scheduled (e.g., Sunday- Friday) calendar workweek. Employees may also be eligible for overtime or compensatory time for other hours in excess of the regular 9/80 work schedule, as provided under the applicable M.O.U.
Overtime Earned. 10 The term “overtime earned,” as used in subsection 3 of this Article, shall 11 mean the amount of overtime worked times the rate at which it is 12 compensated; for example, one hour of overtime worked that is 13 compensated at straight time rates (1X)*1 under this Article shall equal one 14 hour of overtime earned and one hour of overtime worked that is 15 compensated at a rate of time and one-half (1½X) under this Article shall 16 equal 1½ hours of overtime earned.
Overtime Earned. Statutory overtime shall be earned at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2) hours for each one (1) hour of overtime worked. Non-statutory overtime shall be earned at the rate of one (1) hour for each one (1) hour of overtime worked.
Overtime Earned. The County shall compensate an employee for overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1.5) times the employee’s base hourly rate of pay. If an employee’s regular workday extends beyond 12 hours, the County shall pay the employee double-time, two (2) times the base hourly rate, for the hours worked beyond 12 hours.
Overtime Earned. Non-exempt employees shall receive overtime if the employee works in excess of forty (40) hours in their defined workweek. For the purposes of determining eligibility for overtime in a given workweek, hours worked shall include City-recognized holidays, vacation, and compensatory time, provided the employee requests and is approved to take the leave prior to the start of their work shift. ▇▇▇▇ leave does not count as hours worked for the purposes of calculating overtime. All approval for overtime must be granted prior to the overtime being worked, except in emergency situations. Employees must be able to perform all the required functions of the overtime responsibilities to be eligible to work overtime, and employees on light duty may not be eligible to work overtime for designated assignments. Employees required to work more than forty (40) hours in a workweek shall receive overtime pay at one and one-half (1-1/2) times their regular rate of pay or compensatory time-off at the option of the employee, subject to supervisory approval. Overtime shall be paid on the payday following the pay period in which it is earned.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2. Funds provided under this Contract may be used to pay the premium portion of overtime only under the following conditions: i. With the prior written approval of System Agency; ii. Temporarily, in the case of an emergency or an occasional operational bottleneck; iii. When employees are performing indirect functions, such as administration, maintenance, or accounting; iv. In performance of tests, laboratory procedures, or similar operations that are continuous in nature and cannot reasonably be interrupted or otherwise completed; or v. When lower overall cost to System Agency will result.

  • Overtime Pay ‌ Overtime pay shall be paid to the employee on the next paycheque after the expiration of the pay period in which the overtime was earned except as provided in Article 16.6 (Compensating Time Off) below.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 111. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above designated or observed holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional ▇▇▇'s pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate (i.e. 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked) or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked. At the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime pursuant to the provisions herein. 112. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of one-and-one- half times for work on the holiday.

  • Overtime Computation Computation of overtime will be rounded upward to the nearest one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a twenty-four (24) hour period, employees shall be paid double time. Employees who receive an unpaid lunch period and are not required to work at their work assignments during such period shall not have such time treated as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.
