Overtime Earned. The term "overtime earned," as used in subsection 3 of this Article, shall mean the amount of overtime worked times the rate at which it is compensated; for example, one hour of overtime worked that is compensated at straight time rates (1X)*1 under this Article shall equal one hour of overtime earned and one hour of overtime worked that is compensated at a rate of time and one-half (1½X) under this Article shall equal 1½ hours of overtime earned.
Overtime Earned. When an overtime-eligible employee is on a 9/80 work schedule, overtime for hours exceeding 40 in a workweek, both under the FLSA and as provided under any applicable M.O.U., will be based on the FLSA workweek. In other words, employees who are eligible for overtime shall receive overtime pay or compensatory time off for hours worked in excess of 36 or 44 hours in their respective scheduled (e.g., Sunday- Friday) calendar workweek. Employees may also be eligible for overtime or compensatory time for other hours in excess of the regular 9/80 work schedule, as provided under the applicable M.O.U.

  • Work Period; Overtime Pay The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period.   • Overtime Computation Computation of overtime will be rounded upward to the nearest one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer proof that the employee has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act.   • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
