Staff Trainings. The CONTRACTOR shall submit an annual staff training plan to the County within 30 days of date of this contract and annually thereafter. Accomplishment of the staff training plan shall be documented in each employee’s file. Training plan shall include all elements referred to in Exhibit H. Staff Trainings. The District will provide annual training, at least one hour in length, on responding to student behavior and implicit bias, to all staff during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. This training will cover “Exhibit A” and will address the topic of when it is (and when it is not) appropriate to refer matters involving student behavior to the Police-School Liaison Officer. The District will also provide annual training, at least one hour in length, with a focus on anti-discrimination law, including an emphasis on the non-discriminatory application of facially neutral policies and procedures, to all District faculty, staff, and assigned Police-School Liaison Officers during the 2020-2021 and 2021- 2022 school years. Such training will be provided by the end of the first semester in each of the 2020- 2021 and 2021-2022 school years. Within 30 days of completing this training, the District will provide written verification to the Department that the training has been completed. The verification shall identify the attendees, the dates the training occurred, the length of the training, and the content of the training.
Staff Trainings. All Play & Learn staff are certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR and Fire Safety. Staff maintain their certifications through training provided by Play & Learn. Additionally, in-service training takes place throughout the year.

All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Off the Job Training Where it is agreed that an employee undertakes job related training provided by the Employer or by a Third Party, that training may be undertaken either on or off the job. Where courses are available during normal working hours, the employee has first option of attending training at these times. If such training is undertaken during normal working hours, the employee concerned will not suffer any loss of pay. Where the Employer requires an employee to undertake mandatory job related training after hours, single time rates shall apply. Any costs associated with standard fees for prescribed courses and prescribed textbooks (except those textbooks which are available in the Employer's technical library) incurred in connection with the undertaking of training will be reimbursed by the Employer upon production of evidence of such expenditure. Provided that reimbursement will also be on an annual basis subject to the presentation of reports of satisfactory progress. Travel costs incurred by an employee undertaking training in accordance with this clause which exceed those normally incurred in travelling to and from work will be reimbursed by the Employer.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.
