Smoke-Free Complex Clause Samples

Smoke-Free Complex. Resident agrees and acknowledges that the premises to be occupied by Resident and members of Resident's household have been designated as a smoke-free living environment. Resident and members of Resident’s household shall not smoke anywhere in the unit rented by Resident, or the building where the Resident's dwelling is located or in any of the common areas, garage or adjoining grounds of such building or other parts of the cooperative community, nor shall Resident permit any guests or visitors under the control of Resident to do so. Smoking is permitted outdoors at least 25 feet from any entrance or window.

Smoke-Free Complex. Resident agrees and acknowledges that the Unit to be occupied by Resident and members of Resident's household has been designated as a smoke-free living environment. Resident and members of Resident's household shall not smoke anywhere in the Unit, nor shall Resident permit any guests or visitors under the control of Resident to smoke anywhere in the Unit. Smoking is permitted outside the Unit only.

Smoke-Free Complex. Tenant agrees and acknowledges that the premises to be occupied by tenant and members of Tenant’s household have been designated as a smoke-free living. Tenant and members of Tenant’s household shall not smoke anywhere in the unit rented by Tenant, or in the building where Tenant’s dwelling is located, or in any of the common areas or adjoining grounds of such building or other parts of the rental community. Tenant shall not permit any guests or visitors under control of Tenant to do so. As such, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including, but not limited to: a. Any dwelling unit, including, but not limited to, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathroom, patios, balconies, unit entryway areas, and leased exterior spaces; or b. In the common areas of any HRHA building, community, common area, or facility.

Tenant and members of Tenant’s household shall not smoke anywhere in the Leased Premises, or in any Landlord building, or on any of the common areas or adjoining grounds of such buildings, or on other parts of the rental community. Tenant shall not permit any guests or visitors under control of Tenant to do so. As such, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Leased Premises, including, but not limited to: Any dwelling unit, including, but not limited to, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathroom, patios, balconies, unit entryway areas, and leased exterior spaces; or in the common areas of any Landlord building, community, common area, or facility. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ has read and agrees to abide by the terms of Landlord’s No Smoking Policy set forth in Exhibit L attached to and made a part of this Lease.

Individual unit is defined as the interior and exterior spaces tied to a particular single or multi-family apartment dwelling unit. This includes, but is not limited to, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, patios, balconies and unit entryway areas. b. Common area is defined as areas within the building interior that are open to the public, including, but not limited to, entryways, community patios or balconies, roof terraces, lobbies, hallways, elevators, management offices, public restrooms, community rooms, community kitchens, stairwells, parking garages and carports, and any other area of the building that is accessible to employees, residents and guests or any other person.

Smoke-Free Complex. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees and acknowledges that the premises to be occupied by ▇▇▇▇▇▇, and members of Tenant’s household, have been designated as smoke-free. Tenant, members of Tenant’s household, and guests are not permitted to smoke anywhere inside of the apartment, or the building which includes the garage where the Tenant’s apartment is located. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees and acknowledges that this policy applies to all guests and visitors of Tenant and that a violation of this policy by ▇▇▇▇▇▇, members of Tenant’s household, guests, visitors, or persons coming to Tenant’s apartment or the building because of Tenant, shall be a breach of this lease and grounds for termination of Tenant’s occupancy agreement and forfeiture of security deposit. You may limit smoking near entrances and windows, or you may implement a smoking restriction that covers 100% of the outdoor grounds (i.e. swimming pools, barbecue areas, courtyards, gardens, lawns, picnic areas, playgrounds, athletic courts, or parking lots). If you intend to restrict smoking on balconies, patios, or any other outdoor area attached to a rental unit, you should clearly state that restriction in your lease documents and in this lease addendum.]

Tenant and members of Tenant's household shall not smoke anywhere in the unit rented by Tenant, or in the building where the Tenant's dwelling is located or in any of the common areas or within 25 ft of any doorways or windows to either building, nor shall Tenant permit any guests or visitors under the control of Tenant to do so. Tenant and members of Tenant's household shall not allow smoke to migrate into the Tenant’s unit, other units or common areas of the apartment complex.
