Sick Leave Conversion Privileges. Any EMPLOYEE who has taken 72 hours sick leave (40 hours for 40 hour employees) or less during the calendar year ending December 30 of each year shall be entitled to either convert up to 60 hours of unused sick leave to vacation or receive a cash payment for up to 36 hours, based upon the current compensation rate on an hour-for-hour basis. In no event may an EMPLOYEE select a combination of two options or reduce the accumulated sick leave balance below 288 hours (192 hours for 40 hour employees.). No prorations shall be made for EMPLOYEES terminating on or before December 30 of the fiscal year.

  • Sick Leave Conversion On January 1 of each year, an employee may convert up to a maximum of 30 hours accumulated sick leave at fifty percent (50%) cash value for the sole purpose of reimbursing the employee for medical costs. This conversion is subject to the following:

  • Conversion of Sick Leave 30 A. Based upon accrual as of July 1 each fiscal year, employees shall be allowed 31 to convert sick leave in accordance with the following schedule:

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month.   • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.
