WSIB No employee who is absent from work and who is in receipt of Workplace Safety Insurance benefits shall be entitled to receive from the Employer any payment for paid holidays as set out in Article 13.01.
Client Agency Any department, commission, board, bureau, agency, institution, public authority, office, council, association, instrumentality or political subdivision of the State of Connecticut, as applicable, who is authorized and chooses to make purchases under, and pursuant to the terms and conditions of, this Contract.
Problem Solving Employees and supervisors are encouraged to attempt to resolve on an informal basis, at the earliest opportunity, a problem that could lead to a grievance. If the matter is not resolved by informal discussion, or a problem-solving meeting does not occur, it may be settled in accordance with the grievance procedure. Unless mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union problem-solving discussions shall not extend the deadlines for filing a grievance. The Union Xxxxxxx or in their absence, the Local Union President, or Area Xxxxxxx, or Chief Xxxxxxx, either with the employee or alone, shall present to the appropriate supervisor a written request for a meeting. If the supervisor agrees to a problem- solving meeting, this meeting shall be held within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of the request. The supervisor, employee, Union Xxxxxxx, and up to one (1) other management person shall attempt to resolve the problem through direct and forthright communication. If another member of management is present that person will not be hearing the grievance at Step Two, should it progress to that Step. The employee, the Union Xxxxxxx or in their absence, the Local Union President, or Area Xxxxxxx, or Chief Xxxxxxx, may participate in problem-solving activities on paid time, in accordance with Article 31, Union Rights, Section 1H.
Client Authority If Client is an individual, Client represents that he or she is of the age of majority. If Client is a corporation, partnership or limited liability company, the person signing this Agreement for the Client represents that he or she has been authorized to do so by appropriate action. If this Agreement is entered into by a trustee or other fiduciary, the trustee or fiduciary represents that Advisor’s investment management strategies, allocation procedures, and investment advisory services are authorized under the applicable plan, trust, or law and that the person signing this Agreement has the authority to negotiate and enter into this Agreement. Client will inform Advisor of any event that might affect this authority or the propriety of this Agreement.
City’s Representative The City hereby designates Xxx Xxxxx, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“City’s Representative”). City’s Representative shall have the power to act on behalf of the City for all purposes under this Contract. Consultant shall not accept direction or orders from any person other than the City’s Representative or his or her designee.
Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.
Contractor Representative Contractor designates *** as the Contractor Representative. Notification of a change in Contractor Representative shall be provided in advance, in writing, to Owner. The Contractor Representative is a Key Person.
Using Agency’s Representative The Using Agency may designate from time to time a Using Agency’s Representative, who shall work with the Design Professional and the Owner’s Representative as a liaison with the Using Agency.
Competent Authority Exchange of information concerning Competent Authority Requests is expected to take place between the Competent Authorities or their authorized representatives. The Competent Authorities intend to provide written notification to each other providing contact information (name, title, and mailing address) for each jurisdiction’s Competent Authority for purposes of the IGA, and to update this contact information, as appropriate.
Helpdesk Customers must contact LightEdge Support to report service trouble or an outage with LightEdge Technical Support. LightEdge Technical Support will be available seven (7) days per week; twenty-four (24) hours per day; three hundred sixty-five days (365) days per year. LightEdge Technical Support provides support for network monitoring, trouble ticket resolution, and fault isolation up to the termination point of LightEdge provided Equipment. LightEdge Technical Support will accept trouble and outage related support calls from any customer representative. LightEdge will not perform any requested activity which may cause Service disruption or perform any changes to Service unless request is initiated by an Authorized Contact. LightEdge reserves the right to delay response on support tickets opened by anyone other than the Authorized Contact. Communication between Customer and LightEdge not initiated by Authorized Contact will not be subject to SLA remedies. All communications with Customer will be in the English language.
