Sending Funds Transfers. You may subscribe to certain services we offer or you may give us other instructions to pay money or have another bank pay money to a beneficiary. This Sending Funds Transfers section applies to wire transfers and transfers we make between Community Bank accounts. It does not apply to automated clearing house (ACH) system funds transfer services. You may give us payment orders for ACH system funds transfers only if you have a separate agreement with us for those services. Cutoff Times for Payment Orders: We have cutoff times for processing payment orders. Cutoff times vary depending on the particular office of our bank and the type of payment order. We may treat payment orders we receive after a cutoff time as if received the next business day. We tell you our cutoff times upon request. Amending or Canceling Payment Orders: You may not amend or cancel a payment order after we receive it. If you ask us to do this, we may make a reasonable effort to act on your request. But we are not liable to you if, for any reason, a payment order is not amended or canceled. You agree to reimburse us for any costs, losses or damages we incur in connection with your request to amend or cancel a payment order. Inconsistency of Name or Number: The beneficiary’s bank may make payment to the beneficiary based solely on the account or other identifying number, even if the name on the payment order differs from the name on the account. We or an intermediary bank may send a payment order to an intermediary bank or beneficiary’s bank based solely on the bank identifying number, even if the payment order indicates a different bank name. Sending Payment Orders: We may select any intermediary bank, funds transfer system or means of transmittal to send your payment orders. Our selection may differ from that indicated in your instructions.

Sending Funds Transfers. You may give us instructions to pay money or have another bank pay money to the beneficiary. The beneficiary may be you or another person or entity. We may charge your account for the amount of any funds transfer initiated by you or any other authorized party with the right of access to the account from which the funds transfer is to be made. Security Procedures You agree that your instruction for a funds transfer shall be carried out using security procedures to verify that a payment order, or a communication amending or cancelling a payment order, is yours and is further not intended to detect any error in the transmission or in the content of the payment order or communication. Such procedures may include identifying words or numbers, callback procedures, special codes, or any other kind of procedure designed to ensure the funds transfer is an authorized instruction. You agree that such security procedures are commercially reasonable. You acknowledge that such security procedures are for your protection and are confidential, and are to be held and maintained by you securely. You will assume all losses should the security procedures be breached by you in any manner, or should you not respond to them timely. If a funds transfer request is carried out by use of the commercially reasonable security procedures, the credit union is released of all liability and responsibility for any losses or expenses.

  • Funds Transfers With respect to each Instruction for a Cash transfer, when the Instruction is to credit or pay a party by both a name and a unique numeric or alpha-numeric identifier (e.g., IBAN or ABA or account number), BNY Mellon and any other bank participating in the Cash transfer will be entitled to rely solely on such numeric or alpha-numeric identifier, even if it identifies a party different from the party named. Such reliance on an identifier will apply to beneficiaries named in the Instruction, as well as any financial institution that is designated in the Instruction to act as an intermediary in such Cash transfer. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Parties will be bound by the rules of any transfer system used to effect a Cash transfer under this Agreement.

  • Electronic Funds Transfers By signing the Account Card, completing and transmitting an online account card or service request, or signing or using the Visa Debit Card, or Home Banking service you agree to the following terms governing your and our rights and responsibilities concerning the electronic funds transfer services, as applicable. Terms and conditions set forth elsewhere in this Agreement shall also apply to your electronic funds transfer service. Electronic funds transfers ("EFTs") are electronically initiated transfers of money through direct deposits, automated teller machines ("ATMs"), point of sale transactions, debit card purchases, audio response transactions and online transactions involving your deposit accounts at the Credit Union.

  • Funds Transfer The Administrative Agent will, in its sole discretion, determine the funds transfer system and the means by which each transfer will be made. The Administrative Agent may delay or refuse to accept a funds transfer request if the transfer would: (i) violate the terms of this authorization, (ii) require use of a bank unacceptable to the Administrative Agent or any Lender or prohibited by any Governmental Authority, (iii) cause the Administrative Agent or any Lender to violate any Federal Reserve or other regulatory risk control program or guideline or (iv) otherwise cause the Administrative Agent or any Lender to violate any Applicable Law or regulation.

  • Electronic Fund Transfers The following provisions apply only to Electronic Fund Transfers (“EFTs”). You will have access to either your deposit or credit card accounts, or both if you so choose, with Commerce Bank. We can cancel these services at any time and for any reason without notice. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money in your deposit account plus your maximum overdraft line of credit. If you tell us within two Business Days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Card, you can lose no more than $50.00 if someone used your Card without your permission. If you do NOT tell us within two Business Days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Card, and we can prove that we could have stopped someone from using your Card and making transfers from your deposit account without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.00. Also, if your deposit statement shows transfers that you did not make, including those made by Card, code or other means, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within 60 days after the deposit statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods at our discretion.
