Secure Disposal or Re. Use of Equipment. Supplier shall check all items of equipment containing storage media to ensure that UL Solutions Confidential Information and licensed software has been removed or securely overwritten prior to disposal. Surplus equipment shall be stored securely while not in use. Devices containing UL Solutions Confidential Information shall be physically destroyed or the information shall be destroyed, deleted, or overwritten using techniques to make the original information non-retrievable rather than using the standard delete or format function. Certificate of destruction is required to be provided by Supplier upon deletion of UL Solutions Confidential Information.

Supplier shall ensure all items of equipment containing storage media that contain Buyer’s data and licensed software have been removed or securely overwritten prior to disposal. Surplus equipment shall be stored securely while not in use. Devices containing Buyer’s data shall be physically destroyed or the information shall be destroyed, deleted, or overwritten using techniques to make the original information non-retrievable rather than using the standard delete or format function. A formal certificate of destruction is required to be provided by Supplier upon deletion of Buyer’s data.
Secure Disposal or Re use of Equipment LGC Forensics fully complies with ACPO guidelines for forensic service providers, covering the retention, destruction and storage of casework material under the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA) arrangements. Procedures are in place to minimise the risk of leakage of sensitive information to unauthorised personnel via information media (computer disks, paper documents etc) which are no longer required. Such media are subject to secure physical destruction. All items of equipment containing storage media are checked prior to disposal or re-use in order to ensure that any sensitive data is securely overwritten or the media destroyed. The process for performing such checks is defined in the Disposal of Information Media Policy. The System Security Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.

  • Disposal of Assets 88) Where the Academy Trust acquires assets for a nil consideration or at an under value it shall be treated for the purpose of this Agreement as having incurred expenditure equal to the market value of those assets at the time that they were acquired.   • Dismissal or Suspension Employees dismissed or suspended for alleged cause shall have the right to submit a grievance to the General Manager commencing at Step 3 within 14 days of the employee receiving notice of dismissal or suspension.
