School District agrees. To the extent School District is able, to provide Students with a safe setting to participate in a Therapy Dog Program. The School District shall provide sufficient oversight of the Program to ensure that all required documents and trainings are completed and up to date. • To provide assistance in implementing new Therapy Animal Programs or to assist in updating old Therapy Animal Programs to the Standards established in the School District Policy and Guide. • To comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

School District agrees.  Manage student selection, paperwork, permission slips, releases etc., for said school site. § Provide/arrange/facilitate transportation to and from camp location, (bus, private transport, etc.). § Secure credentialed personnel to attend the training with their students. At least one staff member must be present at all times. (please dialogue with AIT should this be a problem). § Provide follow up AIT education based on the program and individual site programming. § Provide requested follow up data. § Manage delivery of medications for students attending who need to take medication. § Have staff participate/chaperone all activities and stagger breaks with colleagues. We are not asking for 100% involvement; breaks away are good for sanity however we need to know someone from your school is available at all times. Parent/Student agrees: § Sign and return all necessary paperwork/releases. o For School Sites: as required by the school/district, i.e., field trip, medication, etc. AIT does NOT govern required forms from the school site/district. § Student: Participate fully: o Willingness to explore strengths and weaknesses o Willingness to support growth and challenges of others o Willingness to push past mild discomfort to achieve uncommon results…i.e., try ropes even if afraid of heights. No one will be REQUIRED to do anything, simply supported to try one step further than they believe they can. § Student and Parent: Be willing to complete pre/post surveys for data collection. § Student: Be willing to participate in school follow-up activities through next school year as part of the All It Takes team. § Student: Be responsible for self-care and support of others through the weekend and the following school year. § Student: Leave all electronics at home. There are NO PHONES allowed during the program. Any phones brought to the program will be kept by AIT for the duration and returned upon departure.
