Scheduling Regular Part Time Nurses. The parties have agreed to the following terms in regard to scheduling, tour offering and cancellation of Regular Part-Time Nurses.
Scheduling Regular Part Time Nurses. The scheduling of Regular Part-time staff shall be as per the Collective Agreement, Article F- 13 and the Short Term Staff Replacement Policy. If the senior available nurse to be called for a tour has indicated an availability for a short tour and the tour is an extended tour, the nurse will be skipped so as to avoid overtime and the tour offered to the most senior nurse available for an extended tour. These hours missed by the senior nurse will not be deducted from her one hundred and one and a half (101.5) hour commitment. If the available tour is an extended tour, and no nurse is available to fill the extended tour ie.) there is no "match" between availability and tour length, the tour shall be filled by offering the senior available nurse an eight (8) hour tour. The remaining four (4) hours will first be offered to supplement a nurse who may already be scheduled. If the four (4) hours are worked by an eight (8) hour nurse, the hours will be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2x).

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-time Nurses a. If a regular part-time nurse works on one of the holidays set forth in paragraph A above, he/she will be paid for all time worked on said holiday at two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Regular Part-Time A regular part-time employee is someone who has a regular schedule of work providing less than seventy (70) hours bi-weekly.

  • Part-Time Regular Employees District shall maintain, in participation with (tenured) part-time regular faculty, all insurance fringe benefits coverage on the basis applicable to full-time participation in regard to premium payments.

  • Part-time Scheduling Subject to Section B of this Article, the Employer and the Association endorse the principle that less than full time equivalent ("FTE") positions shall, within reason, be expected to work a biweekly work period that equates to an eighty (80) hour work period multiplied by the position's FTE. (e.g., 80 hours @ .75 = 60 hours). It is further understood by both parties that ASF Members assigned to less than a FTE position may be required, during the peak work periods, to exceed their normal biweekly work period. FLSA non-exempt ASF Members who work a part-time schedule will earn overtime for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a work week. The Employer agrees to review any ASF position that is less than one (1) FTE if the Association can demonstrate that the position has regularly been required to work a work period that substantially exceeds the normal work period as defined above, and adjust the FTE of the respective position as deemed appropriate by the Employer.
