Salary Increase Upon Promotion. The phrase "at least five percent higher" in Section 2.44.210 of the Municipal Code is clarified, through rounding, to mean "at least 4.5 percent higher".

Salary Increase Upon Promotion. A. A promotion is defined as movement of an employee from a job classification to another job classification with a higher salary range. (Acting appointments are not considered promotions.)
