Salary in New Positions. An employee who is promoted to a new position which has a salary midpoint that is more than five cents higher than the salary midpoint of the current class shall be advanced to the next higher rate of pay or the minimum salary of the new class, whichever is greater. However, if such an adjustment would not provide at least a 3% pay increase, the employee shall be advanced to the next higher step. An employee appointed to a class where the difference between the two (2) salary midpoints is five cents or less shall be moved to the same salary step held in the old class and shall transfer seniority credit for salary progression purposes to the new class. An employee appointed to a class having a salary midpoint which is more than five cents lower than the salary midpoint of the current class shall have their salary adjusted to a step within the pay range of the new position, but shall not have their pay reduced by more than 3% or top of the new range whichever is lower. An employee who demoted in lieu of layoff shall transfer seniority credit for salary progression purposes to the new class.

Salary in New Positions. Employees who are appointed to new classifications having a higher rate of pay during the life of this Agreement shall be advanced at least to the next higher rate of pay within the range or to the minimum salary of the new class, whichever is greater.   • Salary Increases During the period of employment as provided in Paragraph 1(b) hereof, the base salary of the Executive shall be reviewed no less frequently than annually by the Board or the Compensation Committee of the Board to determine whether or not the same should be increased in light of the duties and responsibilities of the Executive and the performance thereof, and if it is determined that an increase is merited, such increase shall be promptly put into effect and the base salary of the Executive as so increased shall constitute the base salary of the Executive for purposes of Paragraph 3(a).

  • EMPLOYEE WORK YEAR A. In-School Work Year

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.

  • Salary Increments The Employer, may grant an increment for meritorious service after an employee has served for a period of twelve (12) months following the first day of the month established in Article 35.07 or twelve (12) months following the date of a change in his rate of compensation as established in Articles 35.04, 35.05, or 35.06.

  • Compensation for Loss of Employee Tools The Employer will replace all employee tools lost or stolen while stored in a room, building, premises, job, workshop, Employer vehicle or in a lock, up to a value as specified in Appendix A.   • Room and Board Allowance 16.01 All employees working on a job who are required to maintain temporary living quarters away from their permanent residence will receive rates of pay as defined in Article 14 Wage Rates, and as stipulated in Article 25.01(a), and work the standard hours of work as defined in Article 12 Standard Hours of Work and Shift Work. All employees working under this clause will receive Room and Board Allowance as stipulated in this Article 16 Room and Board Allowance.

  • Salary Impact of Reallocation An employee whose position is reallocated will have their salary determined as follows:

  • Employee Compensation Upon Separation An Employee, upon her separation from employment, shall be compensated for vacation leave to which she is entitled.
