PURPOSE OF THE INTERNSHIP. The intern shall be afforded an opportunity to acquire practical experience with an internship host for the purposes of their university course. Their internship constitutes part of the curriculum. The mandatory components of the internship are set out in the applicable study guide, the Education and Examination Regulations and/or in the internship regulations. The purpose of the internship and the activities which are to be undertaken are set out in the internship work plan which is appended to this agreement as an annex.
