Project Preparation Facility. Audit and Evaluation (EUR 3 million) The main purpose of the Project Preparation Facility (PPF) - is to allow project preparation to proceed in a quick and effective manner. The PPF will support the preparation and early implementation of activities under the five IPA components. Actions to be supported are likely to include: recruitment of short-term technical assistance for activities typically including feasibility studies, inputs to terms of reference and specifications, and tender evaluations, project preparatory and start-up actions, and environmental impact assessment and other studies relating to investment projects and programmes. The PPF will consist of funds covering the financing of short term or long term technical assistance (framework contractors or others) generally amounting to 50.000 – 200.000 EUR per single project, or above if duly justified in case of more complex project preparation activities. Furthermore, where necessary, assistance may involve audits, monitoring and evaluations with regard to project implementation.

Definition,purpose and relevance A “Project Preparation Facility” provides financial support for the preparation of the Final Project Proposals (e.g. feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, etc.). This Annex 3, B is only applicable if the Parties decide by mutual agreement to establish the Project Preparation Facility and to allocate a portion of the Contribution to it.

  • Site Preparation Contractor shall not begin a project for which the site has not been prepared, unless Contractor does the preparation work at no cost, or until Region 4 ESC includes the cost of site preparation in a purchase order. Site preparation includes, but is not limited to: moving furniture, installing wiring for networks or power, and similar pre-installation requirements.

  • Project Construction Budget The project construction cost allowance specifically stated in writing as the ‘revised’ or ‘current’ ‘Project Construction Budget’ by the Trustees at each applicable phase of plan development.

  • Project Completion Part 1 – Material Completion

  • Joint Preparation The preparation of this Agreement has been a joint effort of the parties and the resulting documents shall not, solely as a matter of judicial construction, be construed more severely against one of the parties than the other.

  • Construction Budget The total amount indicated by the District for the Project plus all other costs, including design, construction, administration, financing, and all other costs.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.

  • PROJECT 3.01. The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the General Conditions.

  • Facility Prudential is willing to consider, in its sole discretion and within limits which may be authorized for purchase by Prudential Affiliates from time to time, the purchase of Shelf Notes pursuant to this Agreement. The willingness of Prudential to consider such purchase of Shelf Notes is herein called the “Facility”.   • Project Engineer If the Project has been designed by the Project Engineer, the Project Engineer is to act as the Owner's representative, assumes all duties and responsibilities, and has the rights and authority assigned to Project Engineer in the Contract Documents in connection with completion of the Work all in accordance with the Contract Documents.
