Programmed Day Off. (a) Employees in the physical classification may vary their working hours to the extent that, without breaching any other working conditions, working hours can be arranged to allow a total of 19 working days in any four week period, with the twentieth day taken as a programmed day off (PDO) without the loss of income or alteration in the total rostered hours for any four week period.

Programmed Day Off. 6.9.1(a) Each employee will be entitled to a maximum of twelve programmed/rostered days off (hourly employees and salaried employees in Grades 1-8 will have access to up to nine (9) programmed days off and three (9) rostered days off) in each calendar year. This represents an entitlement to one day for every four week work cycle for 48 weeks of the year.
Programmed Day Off. No credit towards a programmed day off accrues during any absence on annual leave for the first four weeks of leave taken from each year’s entitlement.

  • Rostered Day Off 3.5.1 Any employee who by the circumstances of the arrangement of their ordinary hours of work is entitled to a rostered day off which falls on a public holiday prescribed by this clause shall, by mutual agreement, be paid for that day seven hours thirty six minutes at ordinary rates or have an additional day added to his/her annual leave, or shall be allowed to take the day off on an alternative weekday. Provided that where in the case of a shift worker the holiday on which he is rostered off falls on a Saturday or Sunday, this provision shall not apply.

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Workday/Workweek A. The normal workweek for each full-time employee shall be forty (40) hours.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.
