Work Cycle definition

Work Cycle means a period of time specifying a number of consecutive days during which accrued time and approved leave will be accounted.
Work Cycle is defined as the 28 day work cycle.
Work Cycle. A defined part of the work schedule, with periods on board and leisure periods, repeated regularly and together amounting to weekly working hours in accordance with the provisions of the regulations relating to working time. Shuttling: Shuttling means transport between fixed and/or floating installations. Daytime work: Normal working hours during the day in accordance with the company’s practice.

Examples of Work Cycle in a sentence

  • If an Employee is absent from work without the authorisation of the Company in any week during the Work Cycle the employee shall accrue a reduced amount of PSL for that cycle calculated on a pro-rata basis with regard only to those weeks where there was no unauthorised absence.

  • F.L.S.A. Work Cycle: An average fifty-two (52) hour work week for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be established by assigning ▇▇▇▇▇ Days off every fourteenth (14th) shift.

  • Subject to what is hereinafter set forth, all hours worked by a member in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week shall be considered as overtime and compensated as such, except for those members assigned to the Four/Ten (4/10) Work Schedule or the Three (3) Week Work Cycle, and any experimental shift schedule agreed to between the Association and the City.

  • Regular Work Cycle The regular work cycle shall average not more than forty-two (42) hours per week.

  • The Company may introduce a roster change after it has provided a full Work Cycle of notice to Employees and has consulted with affected Employees in accordance with the Consultation Clause 8 of this Agreement as may be necessary about such a Work Cycle change.


More Definitions of Work Cycle

Work Cycle. - means Monday to Sunday inclusive.
Work Cycle means the scheduled number of days it takes to complete one rotation of the schedule. For Example, if it takes fourteen (14) days for each employee to rotate through it, without repeating it, the cycle would be a fourteen (14) day cycle.
Work Cycle means the roster or pattern of work implemented in a particular work location or department.
Work Cycle. An average fifty-two (52) hour work week for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be established by assigning ▇▇▇▇▇ Days off every fourteenth (14th) shift. ▇▇▇▇▇ Days shall be assigned according to seniority as defined in ARTICLE XII SENIORITY Section 1 - Definition of Seniority and by the following method. The City shall establish an individual work cycle for each employee covered by this Agreement. Each employee shall be scheduled to work a twenty-one (21) day cycle. This schedule will be continuously repeated. Each cycle will begin at 19:00 hours on the first day of the cycle and end at 19:00 hours on the first day of the next cycle. Each employee’s ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ shall begin at 07:00 hours on the day as assigned and end at 07:00 hours the following day. The scheduling of “▇▇▇▇▇ Days” in accordance with this Section 2 shall become effective on May 1, 1997.
Work Cycle means each four (4) week (28 day) work period within which each employee may work their Scheduled Hours.
Work Cycle means a period consisting of an On-duty Period and an Off-duty Period where, not including mobilisation or demobilisation days which may be worked and; except for a Major Shutdown where employees are directed to work a different roster than the regular Work Cycle pursuant to subclause 12.6, the number of On-duty days does not exceed the number of Off-duty days.
